- In this episode of Crime Watch Daily: Did Sherri Papini's kidnapping hoax take away resources from the real disappearance of a missing woman whose family is still searching for answers? Plus, Chis Hansen visits Delphi Indiana for the investigation into the murder of two teens.
My brother was 12 and I was 14. My brother started acting strange. So ask him one day. Walking home from school, what's going on with you. He said a man offered him $100 to let him take a picture of him in his underwear. I asked him, where was it supposed to take place. He sit down at the McKinley Park. I said okay. I went straight home and told my mom what he had told me. She called the police and the police called the FBI. They all hidden the trees at the park waiting for the pervert to show up. But the pervert must have seen that they were watching for him. Because he never, made himself known. But my brother was one less victim, because I went home and told my mom what I knew. And I believe that this day that is what saved his life, from a predator.

Years ago I heard about this girl who was kidnapped and at one point she managed to walk into the store with the kidnapper. She made one eye contact with a female staff member - she called the police. The girl was saved, the perv in prison. Some people would didn't even think about why someone's looking at them, how they look, act, what's the scene, some would brushed it off or maybe wouldn't even notice cause simply, they're at work and in a hurry.
Story of that girl and the female worker is still in my head...

Cops don't give two craps about any of that, they never have, they never will, and they certainly won't be going immediately to the feds. @@darkfafnir4389 new evidence has come out in the trial. The arrest affidavit of Richard Allen exposed lots of new evidence. The bullet found at the seen is new information (evidence) for one. As well as how the body’s were found and so much more. What do you mean there isn’t new “evidence” from the crime?? Allot of new information has been released in the time scenes this video was created. (Not saying he is guilty, just new information)
@@darkfafnir4389 There was a new video recently within the last week or so that laid out all the evidence that is public knowledge so far, and it is pretty dang substantial. That is just what is PUBLIC. I know for a long time it was all under seal. I'm not sure if it was all released, or just a partial release of evidence from seal. It's pretty compelling, but we will see when the things really get cooking.

Richard Allen, who lives near the crime scene, is scheduled to go on trial for the murders in October. The trial has been moved to Fort Wayne, which is 95.9 miles from Delphi.

@80bbygrl that excuse has been around since the 20's, & kids were still kidnapped & assaulted. If anything the lax attitude makes it easier for children to be preyed upon by lackadaisical attitudes towards safety. "That stuff doesn't happen here" type of excuse

We did the same thing at that age. 12 year olds will wander the neighborhood. It's harder to watch their every move at that age. Unfortunately, the girls ran into a monster.

I'll never understand why people walk, run, bike, etc on trails that run throughout cities. They're completely isolated & surrounded by woods, with no way to escape. 😟

Because nobody wants to be a cop anymore, they're afraid if they'll end up in trouble for doing their job, they're not respected, and it's just more trouble than it's worth. So now police departments are taking anybody.

This is very old shit. I was hopping for new updates on the delphi trial.
Why don't they be smart in install the cameras. But don't make it knowledgeable to the community about the cameras. Because if they make it knowledgeable the perpetrator is not going to go in that area. But they seem to always want to make everything known to the public.
It is interesting to look back at this and see how it was covered in the media. I think the monster that they arrested looks just like the sketch that was released and for him to have lived that close to the area is hard to imagine why they didn’t have him in custody a lot sooner
My little sister and I came in contact with a predator and had my sister not ran to our apartment for help and my moms friend ran out and chased the man, then pursuing him in a vehicle chase, one of us would not be here today. My mother never reported it to the police, but I remember everything about it.

They maybe, but not everyone watched ever episode. Here in the uk. It was hit and miss to whether it was on or not. I've not seen this one, but it is a shame there is mo update at the end. As most of the comments have confused me🤣

3 girls said they saw the man from the video heading towards the bridge around 1.45pm.
*"I stood on platform one watching the fish"*
Betsy Blair said she saw thean from the video standing on platform one around the time the girls were getting to the bridge.
When he gave his original statement he gave the description of the man from the video and confirmed he was in the area around the time witnesses were.
A bullet was found at the CS that hasn't matched other suspects guns BUT did his.
They tested RL's and another man's that was an SO,
The black jacket with white markings along the front seized from his house people had said the killer was wearing from the video under the blue jacket.
