Real talk I actually loved seeing them confused about jail & prison. I low-key kinda teared up thinking these young black men don't really know about jail or prison this is Beautiful. Especially after visiting my Nephew in jail today facing some real serious charges who is around the same age as these guys.
Man as a former Inmate in Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDC) It feels so good that these young Black Men don't much about the County Jail or Prison Life. I Did a 5 year Bid and been home since February 4th 2011. I now have a wife that I met 6 months of me being free with 2 wonderful Kids with her. I have worked my way up from a line Cook to a Certified Chef/Kitchen Manager and Executive Chef working for Corporate Restaurants. After earning salaries up to 110K a year, for the past 3 years I stepped out on faith and went full time with the Catering company me and my wife started in 2014. To all my brothers doing them bids Keep your head up stay prayed up and know that when you free You too can be successful and look back and be like damn I've came a mighty long way.
O yeah. There are differences in the structure of Jail and Prison that are better in Jail. As someone that's been in both trust me Prison is way worse then Jail. It's not even close. Especially in Texas! Ill just leave you with one reason why. In jail you not gone really see no strange activities. In prison before your time up you will probably here or accidently see a Grown as man getting fucked. I know it's fucked up but it's the harsh reality of the situation. Niggas will not try you though unless you asking for it or you come off as scared or push over. Moral of the story stay out them streets but if you can't you bet not be no Hoe. Look at that shit head on and fight for your respect. They gone respect you for not being a hoe.
Can be for sure... County jail is where "cleanup" happens.. co defendants get taken out before court, pedos/rapist taken out by someone trying to earn stripes before they get to prison, or anyone else they feel the need to takeout.. Prison, they don't want the drama as much because all It does is cause LOOOOONG lockdowns. So if someone gets it in prison, they likely earned it... Federal prison though is WAYY different. You don't get the "good time" like state or county but, it's easier time in my opinion...
You can pull up anything by Ali and be entertained. He has a special where he entertains the prisoners in Bell County called: It's Bigger Than These Bars. Don't sleep on him.
Depends what prison you're in.. The prison in my area has SHIT food, so most ppl just buy commissary & make their own food. You get "yard" time but, being on a prison yard is still different than being "outside" because all you can see is razor wire fences & big cement walls.. If you're in a work release program, yes, you get to leave & go to a job 5-6 days a week. But you're still 1000% monitored the whole time... The county jail here, it's tiny.. maybe 20-30 units but only 12-15 ppl per unit. They get food from a restaurant across the street so that's cool. But, the yard, you get like 30-45min a day and it's a damn cage the size of a basketball court. So when 100 ppl go out to rec, you don't even have room to stretch lol. Federal prison was WAYYYY different and better. You can't earn as much "good time" and get out early like state prison or county but, there's much more to do and more laid back
Agreed, and they have better store too. Prison on the whole is way better, but also prison seems to be more dangerous. Jail was always more wild, but the men in prison always seemed to be a different breed.
Okay, what made me HOLLER is the debate about whether prison is worse than jail. I mean, just watching these friends go back and forth made me, a writer, take notes because I will write a sketch about it someday. BEST BELIEVE. HILARIOUS!!!!! #Mexicangotonboots
The biggest difference between prison and jail is that in jail, you are usually unsentenced (awaiting trial, newly arrested waiting for bond) and in prison you are usually already sentenced. There are some exceptions, but that is the basics. I’m glad you gentlemen don’t know!
GOTTA WATCH PATRICE O'NEAL! He's on most great comedians Mt. Rushmore of comedians.. he never got his due when he was alive, but comedians say he was one of the best. He was on the office and worked in the warehouse with Darryl, too.
Hi..please do a reaction on an Indonesian singer named Cakra Khan... he did an amazing cover for Tennessee whiskey.. and the other is a fingerstyle guitarist named Alip Ba Ta.. very talented. !!
CartierFamily, fellas if U guys wanted to kno about Prison Gangs U guys have to C the movie Bound By Honor--Blood In, Blood Out. This movie was made in 1993, It follows the intertwining lives of three Chicano relatives from 1972 to 1984. They start out as members of a street gang in East Los Angeles, and as dramatic incidents occur, their lives and friendships are forever changed. Blood In Blood Out was filmed in 1991 throughout the Spanish-speaking areas of Los Angeles and inside California's San Quentin State Prison. U C the Whites (Aryan Vanguard), Blacks (BGA-Black Guerrilla Army), & Latino's (La Onda) interact with each other. It's a good movie that U guys have to C. It's about a 3 hour movie, but it is interesting. Check it out fellas, U guys will not be disappointed.
Spent time on the county man and that ish was horrible!! Lot of dudes was like "why don't they just send me back to prison" or "they need to hurry up and transfer my ass out of here". County ain't a cool place. We was 23 hr lockdown and got to go to yard once a week
You have way more "freedom" and perks in prison than you do in jail. Jail is designed to be miserable with the hope of deterring small time offenders from committing more crime and ending up in prison. Prison is way more lenient because it's the end of the road in terms of punishment. Plus prisoners are serving longer sentences. I believe jail is up to 1 year, prison is for sentences longer than 1 year.
@@nadinekeating3255 yeah its 24 months, but it can depend on county and state, also what prison policies there is for what crime you did, I know ppl whos done 3-4 in the county.
I know that in Maryland if you kill an inmate and get charged if you have a certain amount of time they add five years on to your sentence. If you kill a civilian your face in a life sentence but if you kill an inmate they add five years.
Ali is hilarious but I think the best story he has are two stories is the silverback and Cobra back you got to watch that and then him talking about learning how to sell dope when he first started getting in the business and he has a little pistol and his dope band Charles has a desert eagle and he pretty much tells him he's going to work for him and he pulls his little pistol out says no I ain't working for nobody that story is hilarious and poverty at its finest living with his dad He's got too many of them and he's all all his stuff is for real hilarious
Jails worse than prison. Prison you have more freedoms. Also prison has different levels... higher the level the more dangerous. Even tho it can be dangerous all together.
As for which is worse jail or prison the answer is yes. Some things are better being in jail and some things are worse. Same for prison. Then you have to ask, which jail? Which prison?
Anyone whose actually been to prison will actually tell you that jail is the worst. Prison offers way more commodities and the inmates are separated properly while in jail everyone gets put on the same pot.. Everything in prison is better. The food, the entertainment, the store you get more rec time, more job opportunities. The biggest difference is the time you spent in there, but some people can spend up to 5 years in jail waiting for a conclusion to their trial, prison is like going to a luxury hotel after moving on from spending years in jail.
Easy way to look at everyone in Jail is cool because they are waiting on they case… once they get sentenced and go to prison that’s where it goes down…
I know a lot of people in prison and they all say prison is easier than jail it only sucks cuz you have to stay there for so long jail is horrible absolutely f*ing horrible if you have to stay there for an extended amount of time
It's funny how oblivious Brandon is to how prison actually operates. It's basically a small city that's completely cut off from the outside world. They have shops, food stalls, rec areas, ect.; A lot of the non-violent inmates have jobs - They are just under constant surveillance in confined/locked down spaces with certain aspects of their lives scheduled - Eating, sleeping...pretty much everything you HAVE to do you're given time to do. Then you have the rest of your day which is usually spend either in your pod (common area in your cell block) or in the yard unless you're working. There are college classes and specialization courses in prison as well. You can get certified to be a plethora of things to make you a productive citizen once you've completed your sentence. There's actually quite a lot to do in prison lol.
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JAIL & PRISON: jail can be used to describe a place for those awaiting trial or held for minor crimes; prison is a place for criminals convicted of serious crimes.
The best thing about this reaction. I'm looking at five black men that don't know what jail is like. Good times Keep it up.
I really love that too
Real talk I actually loved seeing them confused about jail & prison. I low-key kinda teared up thinking these young black men don't really know about jail or prison this is Beautiful. “Mitchel” is the continuation of this story and it’s hilarious
Yeah it is.
As well as infuriating.
Mitchell needed to get fucked up
That is a very good one. I love the Mitchell story 😂
It is not funny story he just tells it at comedy show, it is very sad story and you can see it is not funny for him as well 😏

Yooo his story about "Mitchell" was funny as hell. I understood were he was coming from too because Mitchell did him dirty.
I used to work in a big jail. I can tell you that most inmates would tell me that jail is worse than prison.

Prison you get real food, you get to go outside, and it's a much bigger space. Unless you're in Max security, county jails are much more confined
