- Hi - It’s Sunshine here, just a few updates.
Captain and I are off-trail temporarily so he can do his end-of-year exams. We are about a week behind with the vlogs, so plenty will be coming before we get back on the trial in 10 days.
Finally, for the next few Thursdays, we will post unreleased content of our life before the AT to build up the cushion of days between when we are actually on the trail and when we release the vlog as “just in case something happens." This is our first TBT! We will be back to our regular daily AT vlogs tomorrow.
IN THIS EPISODE
In our last Boat episode, we picked up Avalon in La Paz. Now, we are heading up to Puerto Peñasco to haul out. On our way, we crossed through the worst weather we have ever experienced.

Your boat can withstand way more but I’d have headed to shore and anchored myself. I couldn’t figure out how far you was. We have got caught out in these before and just ended up heaving too till it passed.
Hope you’re having a nice break however, good luck with your exams, captain I’m sure you will do well. just think you get back on the trail you don’t have to worry about school anymore. Yay.

(In my experience) This is what I absolutely love about men. They do the hardest things calmly, all those things I can't or desperately don't want to do. The gross, the scarey, the physical. I just have so much admiration for men who do what has to be done, while I cover my head and cower. Men, like Will, make people like me feel safe. We are so blessed to have men like this in our lives.
He’s a good man and I love him so much.
