- Cake Decorations - Seashells made of fondant are a fun way to decorate a Mermaid Cake and are edible. These could go on a birthday cake for an adult or child or even a wedding cake with a beach or under the sea theme. This cake decorating video will show you step by step how to make several different fondant shells.
