Written by Tyler Carter Himself,
Basically a few years ago I fell in love. Typical story yea? Well, a friendship developed from this experience for sure, but none the less the scenario comes from a dark period in my life. This girl I was indebted to was bearing a child. She was perfect to me but cursed in a sense. She needed a hero and that hero had to be me.
The line "it's been this way since before the birth" basically just means that this guy was a piece of shit before the kid even came into the picture and that sometimes things just never change.
In the Music video I personally play the piece of shit character, and I am singing the letter that she wrote to him.
