The answers to the practice questions are below. Just click on "Read more". Thanks for watching and make sure you subscribe and like the video! By subscribing, liking the video, or sharing the video with others it lets me know you want more AP Psychology videos.

Question 1: Random selection is when participants are randomly selected to be part of a study. Random assignment is when participants are randomly assigned to be part of the control group or experimental group in the experiment. Representative sample is when the sample group in the study represents all the different people in the population.
    Question 2:
Hypothesis? If you drink gatorade, then you will grow.
    IV: Gatorade
    DV: The amount you grow
Confounding variable: People have different genes that could cause them to grow at different rates
    Placebo: The gatorade substitute
Experimental group: The 30 students who get the gatorade
Control group: The 30 students who get the gatorade substitute
Random assignment: Sophia could assign students to the control group and experimental group by pulling their names out of a hat

how do you study from the videos, is there like a specific way?

    • @dia_123

@@touleenkayyali8347 I use the videos as review ngl, I suggest doing your unit and actually reading well (and doing reading guides if u do that) and then at the end of the unit watch these videos to review and understand more
      Tbh vocab is REALLY IMPORTANT
      - memorize vocab (I used quizlets)
You can memorize the countries names and where they are as well, but I did that and tbh I didn't use it much on the app exam
Overall, just read the unit, watch these videos to understand better, and memorize your vocab :)

@@dia_123 are the ap exams hard and require a huge effort?

    • @dia_123
      @dia_123 Před 2 lety +2

@@majid9356 Tbh it depends which AP exam you're taking, and how confident you are in the subject. Personally though I'd study hard for any and every AP exam^^
Your teachers should be preparing you all year so when you actually go into it it's easier than you expected! (Still nerve wracking)
Generally I think if you're doing well in the class you should be fine on the exam. Keep studying though ^^
