- The nightmare isn't over in Halloween Kills as unstoppable killer Michael Myers escapes from Laurie Strode's trap to continue his ritual bloodbath. 32:10 About the question of going into a former serial killer’s house, I once had to go into John Wayne Gacy’s childhood home. We were filming a home renovation show next door to the house and we had to ask the owner’s to sign a release since it’s a semi-famous location. The owner’s, an older couple, invited us in while we waited. They were all about the hype and history of the building.
Im probably alone on this but even thought i think 2018 is so good i just prefer this one..i love how Hadonfield, the whole town was effected by 1978 not just Lori and its the town that fights back which is refreshing in a mainstream horror movie but it also keeps Lori and her family as the core focus and Michael pure violence is shown in full force..Okay yes there is some repitition here, especially with the key phrase, 'Evil Dies Tonight' but all these characters, the chaos that happens, the horror of the whole Mob (hive) mentality, the understanding of just how Michael is not just human but otherworldly is shown, not that he actually gows stronge but he becomes more invincible with every kill..The Chaos is done so well..i love it, only weird part for me is why Lori's daughter feels the need to look out Myers sisters window like he did..

The only people who have seen Michael at this point that were present at the hospital were Laurie and Hawkins and they were both out of commission. She tried telling people it wasn't him and they ignored her. No one knows what Michael looks like at all and are looking for one of the two escaped inmates shown on the news.
"Have you seen your kitchen?!" I bet it's like Disneyland for Michael, lol.
Actually, the gun safe was a bit fireproof. That's where he was hiding.

Remember that literally the only people who have encountered him since the last one have been the strode women and Hawkins. They know what he looks like and what he's wearing now. No one else has any clue, it just showed the two missing patients on the news wearing white.

I heard that the insurance company (?) that bought the original Myers house gets pretty pissed off that people are constantly taking pictures and coming in to see it. Like Cinema Snob said - sounds like its their fault for buying something that a lot of fans want to see in person

This movie got a lot of hate when it came out but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Halloween 2018 and Halloween kills were really good but I was quite disappointed with Halloween Ends

But seriously I REALLY wish that the movie ended with not just the vigilantes but with Laurie and her family giving the final killing blows. Not only would it have been fitting but it would be very cathartic for both the characters and the fans.

It is. Ends was filmed in Georgia due to Covid related delays, etc. The first 2 were filmed in North and South Carolina.

Hey guys, big fan..i luv this movie and the previous one, do not watch Halloween Ends as its just plain bad, only worth watching for the last 20 mins..I always wonder why there are such few great trilogies and why the 3rd one usually sucks Donkey Balls, thats movie making for u...
Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but in Halloween 2018 Laurie goes in her basement and you see she has a large cabinet that holds her weapons. Michael hid in that cabinet when the fire started and yes, it is big enough to hide or shelter in.
IMO 1- Halloween 2018, 2- Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends does not even deserve to mentioned.
So they never killed Ben traimor either with the car explosion in Halloween 2

FOURTY YEARS and EVIL DIES TONIGHT are poorly implemented in this movie and it ruined the overall tone. but the Myers stuff is still really good.
2018 was a good sequel to original and Kills was a few steps down. Ends fell off the cliff. One of the worst horror movies I've seen. We set up a TV by a firepit and was sooo disappointed.
I hate this movie, mostly bc of the kills. The problem isn't that I'm not a gore person or anything, I've seen a lot worse, it's that this movie seems to make the characters ridiculously dumb. And whenever a character dies bc of stupidity and I see how they EASILY could have avoided it, it irritates the shit out of me. Like I'm able to still enjoy a slasher movie with that aspect, but this one is different. The first time I watched this, I was screaming at my tv for the majority of it and then it completely lost me the moment that one girl accidentally shot herself bc Michael kicked the door on her and the plot gave her horrible aim. I probably sound like a crappy person to watch slasher movies with but I just don't like this movie. I much prefer Halloween 2018 over this, I love watching these guys though lol

I wasn’t a fan of this compared to the last movie. I loved the first of the trilogy this one made me not want to watch Ends.
He’s actually at 23 kills with just 2018 and 78 ( couple off screen kills at the bus) I can’t wait to see the final number on the ends reaction( just starting this one now)

I'm not crazy about them making Michael Myers a living personification of fear and thus unkillable. It's not a satisfying way to end the movie, it's very deus ex machina and honestly makes him less scary than just a man in a mask capable of extreme evil.
One of the worst sequels I've ever seen. This movie is goofy as fuck.
