Valve adjustment is possible only for reborn series and not possible for models before 2020 because it has connecting rod which operates with help of hydraulic tappets which has no adjustment nuts .

Valve clearance a.k.a tappet should be adjusted in every service including 1st service. It is prescribed in manual. But, no service center even brands that we call as premium won't do this , one main reason because 1st few services are free labor, if you bring bike in the morning they handover to you before evening. It can't be done in that 6hrs. Lot of vehicles entering daily for service. For valve adjustment It will need fuel tank removal, skilled labour work and advanced care in not making any damages to bodywork and engine. Not everyone are skilled mechanic in service center. What we get is oil change, chain lubed and waterwashed bike . One best solution is to get some hand tools and try with your skills on your bike. If tappet not maintained valves will go wrong after around 20k kms. That time it ll not be a free service and you 'll pay money to the service center. So your vehicle possibly attended by a skilled technician
If that is the case no brand should give free services at all.. Our bikes get damaged because of their careless free services right?
@@james30321 Nothing is offered free. They call it a free service because they didn't bill labour charge separately. They still gain money miscellaneously. I own a RE. In my case I was charged for chain clean and chain lube around 200/- and also charged another 200 as consumable charges. I didn't see any other consumables involved other than a spoon of grease around clutch lever that wouldn't cost 200rs. May be they have included water wash in it. But they should name it as water wash in billing. Premium brand copy (bmw) isn't offering free service on their 310 series. But tvs is offering 4 free services. Yes badge owners don't like to avail anything free.
@@prasanna5537 i didnt speak abt free sir. I spoke abt the mandatory checks which is mentioned in manual is wat u mentioned should be taken care by service people right..tats wat i said.. Why it is mandatory in manual if it is nt taken care at the time of service our bike will gets some damages crt.. Then why free services no need right we can do it outside with good mechanics crt is my point.. Nothing about free again am saying..
@@james30321 got it. Yes manufacturer recommended instructions should be done accordingly irrespective of free/paid service. The thing is the service center person don't tell us the customers what all they will be doing in the service. What they ll say is ( sir engine oil, air filter mathanum, chainlube and waterwash la serthu 3k bill varum). Even if the customer asked about something else which is mentioned in the manual they behave like ( dei enaku terium nee poda). They should get customer approval before doing even simple things. It isn't actually necessary to change everything as per manual. For ex. If oil is fine we can keep it running. In most cases oil don't degrade with time/year. We need to fix what is necessary.
@@prasanna5537 crt. RE people are actually very rude u knw either in shw room or service.. Because of the brand hype.. Not even 1 shw room tey give respect to customers even in enquiry time itself.. rE shld be shut down soon here only ten tey ll understand hw to treat customers..
