Hotel Overview: Best Western Stovall's Inn near Disneyland

- We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Stovall's Inn on our trip to Disneyland. The rooms were very nice with new updates and very comfortable beds. The complimentary breakfast was very good and a great way to start a busy day at the park! This hotel is a 10 minute walk to the entrance of Downtown Disney and then another 10 minute walk to the gates of Disneyland or Disney California Adventure. We will stay here again.

This may already be in the comments, but just in case... you can shave off a significant amount of time by cutting through the Grand Californian. It's permitted AND, when we did, they pulled my daughter into a movie watching event on our way back to stovalls. We told them we weren't staying at Disney, and they said it was okay for her to participate.
Stovalls is where we ALWAYS stay when we do Disneyland!!!! Not only is it a nice hotel...the staff are amazing! Also, becaue of howbthey keep their grounds and the walk, it's like you never leave the magic of the parks. Lastly, the restaurant attached to the hotel is wonderful. Good food and beyond wonderful service! We won't stay anywhere else...even if that means spending a few bucks more. It's well worth it!!!!

Back in the 70's and 80's my grandfather and Jack Stovall were in the hotel business together and knew each other half decent. Jack always seemed like a nice guy and did his best but Disney always saw these external hotels as a blight. I'd like to think they didn't include Stovall's properties into that because all of his hotels that surrounded DL were themed to one thing or another. He was definitely in the spirit of how Walt did things, even if the execution was different. I'm glad to see a Stovall property still there. I'd stay there just to show my support for their family and what a good job they did running a business.

we stayed there in 2018....loved it. and i love that you called it Mickeys wheel of death...haha we call it that too...scared the shit out of us on the swinging side

I’m lucky my best friends live 15 mins from Disney land. (I live in Kansas) They have season passes so they go all the time. I had never been to Disney so when I flew out last time to see them they surprised me with tickets!! I almost cried!

I ended up going with BW Stovall’s Inn. I got an excellent rate and it has included breakfast.
Also I could have stayed there! My friends wedding was in Fullerton not to far away from Disney and the hotel was 91 a night and like the hotel water pressure and temp was terrible. Aldo the breakfast was like toast. Your videos always help me out when it comes to traveling!
This was a great option for us. I did a lot of research on the MANY hotels in this area and it was the best for the price and we were extremely happy with our stay!

Yes we said the same thing about those eggs being the worst “eggs” we have ever had. Not sure what it was but it definitely wasn’t eggs! The Hotel was fine and nice enough! We stayed at the Desert Palms this last trip to Disneyland in August and it was much better though!
I actually stayed there the first time when I went to disneyland like two years ago but last year I stayed at the Disney Paradise Pier it was fun so, now this year in December my goal is to stay at the Disneyland hotel

Yes, there is a shuttle. I don’t remember the cost of it but we enjoyed the walk.
I have two bookings right now. One for Fairfield Inn and one for BW Stovall’s. The BW is $200 cheaper and has free breakfast. I know FFI is closer. Which do you think I should go with?

Thanks for the video!! We are staying here in June 2020 for our first Disneyland trip. I've read many reviews complaining about the breakfast and not enough seats. I also read that the staff wasn't the most hospitable, especially the front desk. Did you encounter any of these problems?
The breakfast was really good except for the eggs... we never had a problem getting a seat and the staff was friendly to us. Have a wonderful trip!!

Hello!!! I want to reserve these hotel but I dont know what time its necesary to walk since these hotel. Can you help me? Beause When I see in Google Maps its about 25 min. I think we can traspase the road and We can walk to the park. Thank you Im waiting your answer
The walk took us 20 minutes from the hotel t the gates of Disneyland. We walk at a brisk pace, so if you are a slow walker, it may take a little longer. Hope you have a wonderful time!
EECC Travels did you reserve in other hotel there? Its my first time and I dont know if its better more near the park. I saw other options but I dont know if its good or not because its a little more expensive than Stovall's hotel. Thank you for your help!!!!!
This was our only trip so far to Disneyland so I have no other hotel to compare to. I have friends who have stayed at Castle Inn on the other side and they like it there. It think the walk may be a little shorter because you don’t have to walk through Downtown Disney. But to be honest we enjoyed strolling through this area each day.
