I love how people still come up with original ideas and art styles and make these platformer games more unique and infinitely more pleasing to the eye and heart than any Call of Greg: Assassin Creeds, God of Combat: The Button Mashening, or any other AAA game.
According to SteamDB, the maximum concurrent players this game has had in its lifetime is 14. The game has eight reviews on Steam and was released about three weeks ago. For some reference, it appears to be a fraction as commercially successful on Steam as Townsmen, a PC port of a freemium Settlers clone, which currently has 70-ish concurrent players. Now I'm not one to shill videogames, but I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with the idea that more people will likely rate this video negatively than have ever played the game it's about, which appears to have at least some care put into its creation.
I can't wait until they unlock the mecha red panda, whose ability is to use its cuteness to force humanity to help it because it can survive on its own.

It's a mixture of Crash Bandicoot hub world design and camera work, the speed and flexibility of Sonic, the music and loading screen of Spyro. Daaammnnn.
Sometimes it floors me how the Best Friends can make such obscure references to things I get. Woolie's replying to "first things first" with "I'll eat your brains" was one of those times. (It's a line from a song, search "ytcracker bruce campbell".)
The multiplayer in this game seems like something that the best friends would really like because it seems like it has the potential to look incredible when done with skill.
I'm not sure how you know about this but we certainly appreciate your support. Mekazoo, just personally speaking, was a passion project that took literally all my free time inside of a five year window. It's people like you that keep me interested in continuing with this industry, making games that everyone can pick up and enjoy and be passionate about themselves.
