We finally see who it was that was compelling frisk to fight! Or, well, we finally recognize who it was. For without our wishes as fans of the music, this would have never come to pass. This musical was created by fans, for fans, and we're all at fault in the end.

I should mention for clarification that I was referring to the chorus lyrics.

This was referring to each of the major characters and boss songs throughout this musical except for Asgore. Which in my opinion is an underrated character, but maybe that can't be helped considering he isn't given much of a role to show off his true personality in the game or merits as he didn't show up in each route until the near ends. 2 of which he dies before you finish it anyway. Outside of that you only have accounts from other monsters.
If I had to pick one flaw I have with Undertale as a standalone not counting its fandom or etc it would be that Asgore is meant to be this huge point or conclusion in each route but dispite that he is either a pushover or not very exposition heavy.

That's not how videos work.
Let's put this in the perspective of a different video. Lets say that I made a video of me building a house. If I deleted the footage before watching no one has seen it but the contents of the video still happened. The lines are a bit fuzzier here since this is fictional, but the content of the video was still fixed before anyone watched the final version. The video would still exist the exact same way regardless of who viewed and how many people viewed.
That's not necessarily what we're trying to say. You pressed play. You made it happen. Therefore, in some way or another, you wanted it to happen. If you didn't, you wouldn't have watched the videos.
LemonLight Productions "You press play. You made it happen." Is exactly the flawed logic I was arguing against. There no way to say that since I saw it happen I was in any way responsible. Although there is no good way to translate this part of the game into a non Interactive medium, but there are better ways to do it then this. The "by watching the video you wanted it to happen" is better, but still not very good.
The best way (that I can think of) to handle this is the way MotI did where Chara calls you out for supporting the videos, with the interactive parts of CZcams (likes, comments, and subscribes).
They mean that because the very first video was supported, there Genocide route continued because it was popular, liked, and supported. Lemon STARTED IT but they didn’t CAUSE ALL OF IT. They started the idea, we forced it to continue

This musical is the literal fourth wall break.
Gosh dang--I have been avoiding watching any Genocide related videos or playthroughs because I know the guilt tripping that happens in them, the responsibility that I accept by watching them. While I'm not proud that my "pure" streak has ended, and as much as I love Pacifist route, I must admit: there is importance in seeing the Genocide route in order to deeper understand these characters, as well as better understand how to face the greater evils that exist in our own world.
Now, as for the song itself: I love that Chara has taken a stand against us: the viewers/Players, and called all of us out for what we did. I love that Chara even goes and defends Frisk, and despite having been swayed to help commit Genocide, now sees the bigger picture of it all and is now even more strongly driven to make things right for the people they care about. It's a refreshing take on Chara's character, and is even poetic for my own experience with Undertale--knowing about Genocide and all it entails and results in has been the REASON I feel so strongly against people taking that route, and why I covet the Pacifist route so much.
One more song to go, and then I am finished with this Musical. Lemon and crew, I don't know if you'll ever read this, but if you do: yours is the first Undertale Genocide Musical I have watched through in its entirety, and perhaps the only one I shall ever fully watch through. I don't think I'll ever need to do it again...save maybe to relisten to Toriel's voice xD The emotions, the story--both were captured and executed (no pun intended) so well in this musical, that in the end, as solemn as it is for me that I sat through it all, I think deepened my appreciation for Undertale in ways I wouldn't have experienced otherwise. It might not have been perfect, but in my opinion--I don't think its tale could have been told in any better way. Kudos to you and all of your team, and good luck to all of you on your future endeavours.

If this were an interactive video series, I could totally see Chara blaming the viewers/players for the Genocide, but it’s not, so this makes little sense. We can’t change what happens in the video, so saying “We didn’t help at all” isn’t a good reason for blaming us because we can’t. Only the creator of the video can help. They are to blame. It’s like shooting somebody and blaming it on a bystander.

What you say is certainly true, and I accept the consequences of my actions. However- I am glad I exited my bubble of pacifism-only to see this route. For all the meta information and real-world-consequences that Undertale and it's fan creations try to put on us, at the end of the day, it is still just a game and a fandom, and I'm glad I could learn to appreciate all of the elements that Toby and people like the team of LemonLight Productions put into non-pacifist content.
This is not to say that I now prefer genocide route- but that seeing genocide route has made me appreciate pacifist route even more- and I think moreso than I would have been able to, had I never watched any genocide content.

Oops...ANYWAYS, this was great! Hailey did a great job with singing the lyrics, and kudos to whoever did the art. I love how chara is trying to get revenge, but stops and gives u another chance cause without u, she wouldn't be here. My heart shattered at the mention of the other songs, reminding me how I watched, letting them play out, and actually happen. I once thought in my mind, 'What if however many views there are, is how many times they have to go through with genocide?' And now chara has fully pushed that idea. Overall, it was amazing! So basically Chara beaks the forth wall and says we shouldn't be watching the video (while SHE was the one who even controls the video, which she says at the beginning, mind you) then she tries to kill you, until realizing that she can't hurt someone behind the screen? Yes, that makes a lot of sense.
NOW. BE PREPARED FOR A LONG COMMENT THAT BREAKS THIS DOWN.
So, let's begin. The first thing I want to point out is: why does she blame US, the viewer? Frisk was the one who did it. We just sat there and watched. We did nothing! We sat there, without a word, without a BIT of influence! There are all the "big brain" comments saying "Oh, Chara is good! She tried to stop the viewer!" But think. Just think. What did you do to deserve it?
Now we come to the next part. The part where she act like a good person. Really though. She and Frisk killed them, so logically, it's their fault. But. Here's another possible thing that could have happened: Chara just made a mistake. We weren't in control. She didn't realize it, but SHE was. It's a possibility. But maybe not. The one that a lot of these rushed, low-effort thoughts (that is most comments) believe is that we ARE in fact to blame. I have proof that this isn't the case. We all have the proof. We are experiencing the proof as we sit and watch. All we did was watch.
Before I present the next part, I'm talking about the musical. Not the game. It was our fault in the game, but not the musical. So, one of the first lines is "*You caused this* you filthy murderer". Emphasizing "You caused this". This I can confirm is not true. We didn't CAUSE this. We may have encouraged it by watching, but that is very strange to just get mad and cave in about it. Chara could've just ignored the encouragement like a *sane person* would.
In this musical watching the videos made it happen, but i do think it would have been better if Frisk did it, it makes more since for this

Even if watching it made it happen, wouldn't that make it the fault of the first person who watched it? It can't happen again every time it's watched. Oh my god. This is why I started watching this in the first place. This was amazing. The idea that WE did all of this, it's OUR fault makes it stand out so much from all the other musicals. It makes it feel as if it was in undertale the first place, AND WHEN THE SCREEN BROKE. OH MY GOD. Not only did you break 4th wall, and the screen, but you also broke my expections. This is a wonderful take on this song, a lot of other vocal covers make Chara out to be this evil demon that is going to destroy the world, very few actually blame the player. This has got to be my favourite cover of it.
