Already cracked that quick I can imagine it will not take a roll over very well.
Yes I think shoe glue the body
But rubbish he just rolled it on to its side
Foam Rubber Bodies will be far superior soon. Just give it time. That brittle plastic is designed to crack.
Wait till that company puts them all out of business….😈😈😈
Best looking scale crawler I have seen. And the size is perfect to get more realistic looking crawling. 👍
Holy Cow!!!! I cant believe Axial made a 1/6 scale. Man I want one.
😮 It’s nice to see an open and honest review. Awesome Job Tony 👊👊👊👊👊
I try to always show the good and the bad. Nothing in the hobby is perfectly flawless or doesn’t require extra work on our end to set it up right. Something like a loose bolt is very possible. Just fix it and move on. This truck has been amazing since that fix. Absolutely love driving it
Wow, exactly what I want to do after dropping $1,100, start wrenching. That's awful QC.
@Jordan Stavely .....axial is cheap. I own several and they are junk, but they make good rollers. First thing I do when I buy an Axial is strip everything and build it the right way.
Wow it looks like a lot of fun for sure, especially if you had several out on a trail for a crawl. You’ll definitely have to do some side by side comparison with the SCX10 just to really see the size difference. Cool video and the slo mo shots looked sweet 👍🏼
the way you had it on its side really showed how massive that thing is but 1200 thats too much cant wait to see all the stuff they come out with for it
At first I was a little disappointed that it wasn't basher but after seeing it I'm actually impressed and very intrigued. May end up with one in the fleet. Absolutely amazing 👏
Poor SCX24! Great video Tony!!
Great video and review as always! Anyone else put off by those toy looking taillights.Cant wait to get one and scale it out.
Great review and run. The truck is amazing in it's own category. 💪✌
Dude! This thing is sweet! Thanks for the awesome content!
Great review Tony!
That truck is big and very cool!! Good review thanks
Great Axial SCX6 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon RC Truck, fantastic technic information and amazing drive video. Thanks and Thumbs up. Greetings Andy.
Beautiful yard man.
Makes me want to get into crawling, has some decent speed for only being 4s, makes sense though, anything higher wouldn't make sense for a crawler.
It would be cool if they made a roller version as well... I feel like it might attract a new crowd into the crawler scene.
Will be cool to see this out and about. REALLY want to see one next to the good old ClawBack - still the largest RC RTR that I am aware of to date - not including the Raminator. The price tag on the SCX 6 is no easy step though... Still a cool rig! Love the thumb toggle on the remote - GREAT for content creation! And the brushless system is impressive! Very curious how "6th scale" hard body models like New Bright "toy" style bodies might fit the chassis.
Man that thing is a beast.
You know Traxxas will one up it. I want one, I'll wait for Traxxas.
Yea, Traxxas will make a 1/6 scale CRAWLER that will cost 1600 + Yea let's wait for that!! 👍🙄
You know whats up man. The cost will be worth it to us who are in the know how to enjoy these things
Awesome buddy!! Wicked video. And it’s just my colour 😁
great review ! When it was stuck on the boulder i was like throw some monster truck tires on lol.
Nice in depth showing of internals in the axle
Looks good definitely a better review then others who I've watched .
wow that things SICK!!!
Same thing just happened to me with the slipper. I think and hope at least. It only took about an hour of run time. Pretty frustrating but Im glad you made this video
Because several people have mentioned that, I posted just the fix part of this to make it easier for people to find.
This fits with your channel haha. You love monster trucks and this is a MONSTER truck... crawler... truck haha.
Great video man.
this is the first crawler that has peaked my interest lol nice😎.
This is going to be my next FPV platform. Take the body off and put some thin plywood, cameras, gimball, vtx, antennas, more lights. Ahhh can't wait.
You should try also steering wheel control, I saw someone making a Logitech into a transmitter, with Fpv total immersion
Heck yeah. Sure wish you could unlock those diffs!
Will a 56mm x 113mm motor fit? Looks like there's not a lot of room to fit a longer motor (stock is 85mm I believe?)
Would like to see how it runs on an Castle 2028-1100kv on 4s or 6s.
Just watched this vid and you did such a great job I subscribed! I suggest doing further vids on upgrades of aftermarket parts. Hopefully we'll be able to "build" this like fullsize. Now to watch another vid where it broke.
Here's a comparison with a full-size counterpart, such as the TNT T-Rex Jeep JK (with 43 inch tires and a 121 inch stretched wheelbase).
Width: 86" / 14.88" = 5.78 scale
Length: 182" / 33.55" = 5.42 scale
Height: 81" / 14.55" = 5.57 scale
Wheelbase: 121" / 19.74" = 6.13 scale
Weight: 6000 lbs / 25 lbs = 6.21 scale
Tire height: 43.1" / 7.0" = 6.16 scale
Rim diameter: 20" / 3.2" = 6.25 scale
I’m curious how 6000lbs/25lbs=6.21 scale. Is there some factor I’m missing?
@@flyingiggies7458 It's a 3D object, so if the full-size Jeep is 6,000 lbs the 1:6.21-scale Jeep should be 6,000 / 6.21 / 6.21 / 6.21 = 25 lbs.
@@viperracing2889 that’s really cool thanks. I tried finding this out before but I’ve never seen it explained that concise. The volumetric factor made it finally click
Just want to say I got mine today and while I love it, I'm 99.999% sure I have the same slipper issue as you. Thankfully I had watched this video so when it started happening I immediately knew what it most likely was and didn't panic. I'll take it apart this weekend, tighten up the slipper, and hopefully be good to go.
Thank you for another great video and for using this platform to share your experience as without it I would have been very confused as to what was going on and would have been pretty disappointed. It's still a little disappointing but I work on my rcs all the time so if that's all it is, no big deal.
Thanks again and keep up the great work!
No way this should happen with the cost. Not everyone wants to take apart a new vehicle.
Are the diff open or fully locked 100% of the time? I want one but i like how my trx4 you can lock and unlock the diff
Looking forward to seeing Monster Truck builds with this platform!
Any word on a kit version for this? I want to make sure that a kit is build correctly and wont have problems right out of the box.
does the mirrors fold in because mine seems pretty stiff and I don't want to break it by trying to fold them in.
Well? You know me. I am an Axial man. ALL DAY LONG ... I will have one at some point I am sure. But
Man I'd love one of these
Wow! This is really huge!!!
That looks sooo fun
Thanks for the vid man, I got the first one coming to my LHS on hold! Now I gotta sell a one scale truck to pay for it.. LOL
Running over the Scx24 was awesome 🤣🤣🤣
What a beast!
I want one sooo bad they look amazing not passing up this 1/6 scale beast
It's beautiful. I wish I had some place to run something like that but it just would not be practical for me.
i have an issue with mine which lost my interest when i bought it :( servo doesnt turn to the right at all ! turning circle is bad to the right. straight out of the box ! cant find a fix. tried calibrating and everything.
Excellent setup my CZcams friend, I want one!! 😀 👍 👌
Can’t wait
The green is the best colour I've seen so far
It's the car I dreamed of in the future❤
They missed the mark, just like Traxxas has done 3 or 4 times now with their TRX line. Absolute must for good scale looks; HARD BODIES. Tamiya RC4WD King Kong all have super scale hard bodies. You’d think these guys would have figured it out, they don’t really listen, still driven by the bottom line only.
Yeah, I agree, a super heavy duty body is a good idea. Also adds a bit of weight which helps with scale handling as well
I've Already Ordered Mine! :))
i just bought my first one scx24, but this.. DOPE!
All you have to do it gut it to make it move properly. My wraith wasn’t any better. Pinion gear came loose first run. Had to disassemble the whole thing.
Considering the scale and price I would have loved to see more hard plastic details on the body, especially the lights. Really cool though.
I think these RC companies are bumping price because of scarcity. No way that RC should anywhere near that price.
Agreed, wish more companies did hard bodies with more details, $1500 for this truck with that body...not really reasonable imo
How wide are the axles compared to a clodbusters?
The SCX24 goes over that last rock better! haha 😄 had to give ya one!
I know a couple people that work in customer service at Horizon and they said there has been alot of bodies replaced under the warranty.
I'd love to build a smt6 outta those parts!
Hey thanks for the video? How much is the scx6 jeep
This thing is beautiful I want one 😂😂👍👍
Wow such great. I like it.can you send me old RC as souvenir😁
man.. how lovely jeep...
Does it come with a battery in the car
will a phicen 1.6 scale fit in the vehicle?????????
Wonder if This will come in a kit form ???
It's so big brother...😍
Disappointed there's no kit option available. Cool video 👍
I honestly don’t like crawlers but this video was cool.
its a Monster!
Locked or Unlocked differentials?
i know you're going to bind it to your dx5 rugged, so you can program the esc from your transmitter
I have seen this truck run on the street..now build to r.c??it looks monster and sick looking 😍😋
Unexpected but will see what after market does
My slipper was loose from factory too Took it all apart fix the slipper put it back together tried my second run pinion gear is loose on the motor it just kept spinning had to take it apart again fix that and put it back together third run moving OK seems slow and really slow in reverse wondering if you’re having that problem too please let me know
You may need to adjust the ESC for more reverse power. In the manual it explains it. I plan to do a video going through that process when I upgrade my servo and change my BEC setting in the ESC. It's not hard. Just have to listen to the beeps.
Battery discharge time ?
Definitely don’t want to be taking apart my new $1,100 rc the first time out. Hopefully the problem will be resolved before it hits the market
Like any RTR, they are out together in mass quantities by people. Human error can always come into play. I haven’t seen any of the other have a problem. Mine just wasn’t tightened enough by whoever put it together. I didn’t think it’s a mass problem. But I wanted to show that there can be problems. My RC wasn’t “defective” it just need to be worked on. They are made to be able to be worked on. It wasn’t a broken part and it didn’t cost me any extra money.
how fast is top speed? and do you know if Traxxas or Losi will be coming out with one.
I don’t see Losi making a large crawler. Traxxas could, but they may not see it as a big enough market to invest in. We’ll see how this one sells
@@CCxRC what's the top speed in 2nd gear... and if they had the price around 8 to 9 hundred dollars it would sell like crazy imo... but they think it will sell like crazy because it's the first of it's kind.
Schöner Jeep , der Mann wohnt auch schön !!
Seen the Grave Digger and Son Uva Digger and knew this man means business. Insta-subbed.
It would be crazy if they came with SCX4
yeah if the price was lower the market for this would grow greatly🤗
Nice property! What state you in? Great video too.
I need this in red!
Watching this with my wife and she said you sound like dr Steve brule and now I can’t stop it
One thing ive noticed is while crawling th weight of th jeep is too light and th motors may crawl nice ( brushless is best) but have a rubberband snappy speed controller with linear power instead of coded to replicate geared transmission
Most people would complain that it is too heavy. They try to shave weight to make them more capable.
What would be the best 3s lipo C rating battery with mah for this model?
50C has been fine. 100c work great too, but seems unnecessary for a crawler. 5000mah or greater for better run times.
15 minutes into this video and thinking "Can you drive this God damn thing ALREADY?!?!!" LOL
That’s nice
are there also kit´s to built it by ure self.. ore just the RTR Crap??
@@CCxRC that's wrealy sad.. What is whit our hobby! I wanne built it my self and not unbox it and go, that's the fun part.. To built it by my self.
Nice crawler. I shouldn't of bought my UDR lol.
**Note** I was wrong in the video. It's only rated for 2s-3s lipo. My bad ***
@@thor_4017 It's fast but not crazy fast. I just think it can handle it, but the weight might put some strain on the motor at that power
I really think they should’ve rated this for the higher voltage let’s be real most people that are gonna run a truck this big are going to want to run that higher voltage honestly I think it would probably take it if you use the old saying of volt up gear down I would probably drop the pinion a couple of teeth or increase the spur gear and run the higher voltage
Is it true you've ran it on 4s with no issues?
