- In this video I talk about my iron and some things to think about if you are considering one. I really like the way it is made up of components that can be replaced as they wear out. The simple, straight forward controls are a plus for me as well. My wife and I both enjoy using this iron.

I am an industrial sewing machine tech. I really appreciate your videos. Thanks for taking the time to make them.
😃🙏
I realize this is an older video, but I'd like to offer a suggestion. I would plug the power cord into a higher outlet. If the water tube or the connection develops a leak, water will run down the plug and into the outlet. If the power cord goes up first and then plugs in, the water will drip from where the cord bends upwards rather than into the outlet. Great video; I've been curious about this type of iron.
Great point!
Great informational video. Like this iron. You seem to have a nice work studio and workshop to spread out and work comfortably. That’s something I wish I had. Thanks for this explanation.
Seems like a great iron for a station. Turn it on, good for the day :) Love looking at products that do the job . Thanks for info.

You can use an IV pole to hang the water bottle. This will give you portability.
That looks like a fine, commercial set-up Alex.
Well thought-out and rigged.... like everything else that you do.
Thank you JP Stone.
Thanks for making this video, Alexander! I don't use an iron much, but the simplicity of this one is very appealing! Plus it looks cool :)
I find that by ironing I use fewer clips and pins plus my sewing is more accurate. Thank you.
Great review man!
Thank you for sharing your video, look interesting new technology iron. I have G.E. iron almost 60 years and still work & fast get hot in like 2 mins. It's my grandma's iron nice size can be use for traveler. Have water build-in.
An oldie but a goodie, nice. I have heard somewhere before that the old irons were gooder (-2 sp.)
Thank you very much for sharing.I gave owned 2 of this urons for the past 5 years or so.But with each one of them I have a problem of blocked steam...making ironing difficult. The other problem is where to get the parts to replace here in Botswana...
Hi Alexander, just found your videos, very enjoyable. I have similar iron, but prefer your model for placement of temp dial. Thanks for tips on on cords and tubes, as IV pole isn’t working well. I am curious about your ironing station. What is it made from, covered with, etc.? It looks quite nifty. You remind me of my grandad - he could build and fix anything. Thank you and Happy New Year!
Well done video with very helpful, honest observations. My wife is full time into patchwork - from quilts to bags to stockings.. the list is too long to mention here. Her next purchase is a really good gravity feed iron. Not many reviews on Google, so your video was most helpful. Do you have any updates since publishing this review on this iron? Also looking at the Goldstar and Sapporo? Or do you have suggestions? I know you're not an iron specialist but appreciate your experience. Thank you, Alexander!
Thanks for this info, I really love this iron,it’s going to improve my work , which company do you get it from ?
I remember my dad's tailor had a similar iron a German model and that is 45 years ago
cool tool👍🍀
Gracias
And .... proceed to checkout. Thanks!
What is the mineralizer for and how do you use it?
I use an IV pole for mine is so much easier to move around. Love my iron. Thanks for your video!
Good Idea. I have an IV pole for a video light lol
Brilliant!
Nice 👍 information
What about your water filter? I just assembled a very similar system but for some reason the water is not passing thru the filter ?
very nice.
If you want portability, use an IV stand to hold the tank and is inexpensive and rolls to where you need it. The hose hangs away from your ironing surface.
Good day, please I bought two lion steam iron but is not steam well. The steam come very small. Please how can I rectify it
What material are you using to iron on? It looks quite sturdy and smooth. Thanks for the review.s
Denim
Thanks!
Do you need to add some product to the water or you simply use tap water? Thank you for the video. I am about to buy this iron from amazon, I just want to make sure I don't have to order anything else.
Tap water is the way I go.
Thank you so much for a quick answer. I'll order it today.

It is designed to be used in a clothing factory rather than the home. For home use, traditional steam irons with water reservoirs works best.
Not my home. To each his own. Thank you.
@@AlexanderDyer Sorry but its all about practicality. That steam iron of yours seems to have a lot of cons than pros.
Good for you. No apology needed. You win. Congratulations. Enjoy your traditional steam iron. You are truly lucky.
Very lonely video but didn't see you use the iron

Use an I V pole like i saw a lady sewer on youtube!;)PEACE
My same thought as I am a nursing student taking time out. 😊
A bungee cord would give more flexibility to your cords.
True. I built this strap from denim and a folder on my sewing machine and attached the snap with my snap press. I am happy with my current set up. The cord and tube are out of my way and the iron can reach all points of the ironing board. Thank you for your comment. Here is how I built my snap setter czcams.com/video/8YAw-13czTQ/video.html
