A 2 Day Thrifting Haul & A Special Patriotic Find

- Hello & Welcome to Frau Holle Cottage.
So glad you're here for a visit! My name is Calypso and my husband Gus and I would love to welcome you to our little home/cottage in Southern California. We are nestled at the foothills of a small mountain range, and we love it here. We have lived here for almost 2 years this June. We love our home/cottage so much, that we decided to give it a name. We settled on the name of Frau Holle Cottage after German Goddess of Winter. You see.....our first Winter here at Frau Holle Cottage was Magical. We received 3 or 4 days of snow, and everyone said that they had not seen that much snow in 20 years in town. It does snow here but it usually melts quickly. I was thrilled because I adore the season of Winter because for us living in Southern California, snow is a treat.....unless of course you live in the upper mountain communities.

=== In today's video I am sharing all the goodies I found in the last 2 days at the Thrift Stores.
Yesterday was a great haul because the thrift store was having a storewide 50% Off Sale. I was able to find a lot of items and some items for my crafting projects. The next day we were able to pick up just a couple treasures at a thrift shop. I was tickled pink to find and American flag and pole for just 3.00. Our house already had a flag mount attached in the front so when I came home the first thing I did was proudly place my new flag there.

Calypso you got such great buys❤️. The fabric pieces you chose for your crafts are beautiful. I love the pumpkin pie plate and the cradle will be perfect for plants. Great minds think alike😊.
