I'm surprised about how fast does the train enter the station. Trains in Spain enter way slower.

These trains have very rapid acceleration and braking, which allows the trains not to stay too long on the platform in the same place.

fun fact: the one in the front Tz4604 "Brüssel/Bruxelles" is the one that caught on fire at Köln/Bonn Airport end of 2022.
It's back in Service again now for now with carriages 406 054 and 406 154 from Tz4654 (retired) for the damaged 406 004 and 406 104 carriages.

Die ET 420 sind, waren und bleiben die einzig wahren S-Bahnzüge. :)
Diese Züge wurde für die Müncher S-Bahn gebaut aber hatten Nachteile für die längere Fahrten bei S-Bahn Rhein-Ruhr, zum Beispiel hatten sie keine Toiletten.

@@samanli-tw3id Das stimmt deshalb wurden glaube ich bei der S-Bahn Rhein -Ruhr die x-Wagen eingeführt.
Unsinn, die neueren Baureihen sind auch gut.
@@mtr801 wieso Unsinn? Ich habe nie gesagt, dass die neuen schlecht seien! Interpretiere nichts hinein, was nicht da ist! Trotzdem, der Charme einer S-Bahn ist in den neuen Zügen nicht mehr so gegeben.

Köln hat zwei S-Bahnnetze?
Nein, die S-Bahn Rhein-Ruhr und die S-Bahn Köln überschneiden sich bloß an der S11 und S6. Die S11 gehört zur S-Bahn Köln, fährt aber bis Düsseldorf, die S6 gehört zur S-Bahn Rhein-Ruhr, fährt aber bis Köln-Chorweiler/Worringen.
Die S-6 wird übrigens nach und nach zur Monsterlinie. Essen - Düsseldorf - Köln - Mönchengladbach wird das irgendwann...
