Two sessions in one this time, I had the opportunity to get out for a daytime session, so I was super keen to try and get a Flatfish, unfortunately it didn't happen, so undeterred, I thought I'd have another go, but it still didn't happen, so apologies about the lack of fish.

Regardless of fish landed, I like watching the Isle of Wight (my old hunting ground) vids from here in Southern California. I look forward to Frugal Friday now. Keep up the good work, the content and info is great. Don't give up on the Duver wall, once it warms up a bit and things start moving try it again on a 10pm high, youll get that flattie - good luck!

No not yet mate, had a stingray at Hampstead, and my buddy had a sole from gurnard. Cooke's baby I think it's called👍👍🎣🎣

Buddy ,that's really great, and I'm really glad its helping you to get out. It can be hard sometimes, when it doesn't go to plan, all the effort, with no bites, but always remember its not just you buddy, happens to everyone. I fish with what I consider some really good anglers, and sometimes they all blank. Keep going, and you'll get that dream fish. I got the isle of wight record for a bull huss, and I havent been fishing long. If I can do it, anyone can mate👍👍🎣🎣🙏🙏

It’s a tough time of the year. Not much biting anywhere around the country from what I’ve seen. The European Open fished really badly and a lot of the uk CZcams channels are posting blank sessions too! Stick at it Dylan and I’m sure the fish will put in an appearance soon! Tight lines brother!
Yeah a couple of my buddies went up for the open, two of them managed to weigh in on the last day, but they said it was pretty terrible. thanks buddy, its good to know its not just me👍👍🎣🙏

Well done for giving it a go, Dylan, seems a bit slow at the moment. I fished the other side of the land slip a few days ago and was absolutely plagued by crabs, but nice to be able to get out and fish. Keep up the good work, better days ahead 🎣

Got me thinking, when I was as young and keen as you I used to catch spent flounders this time of year down Ryde seafront. In front of the canoe lake first concrete groyne, always after dark for last couple of hours on the flood, once the tide turns nothing.

Are you going to be doing much lure fishing for bass when the season kicks off? Huge bass off the rocks way to the left of you past the land slips
Hey buddy, I don't tend to do much in the way of lure fishing to be honest. I have heard there are few around that way, between alum bay and totland. Maybe this year I'll give it a go👍👍🙏🎣
