Looks like algae build up I've had that happen b4 had to use some biocide to kill it no problems since. I also keep my tanks full as possible helps keep the water and that keeps the algae out.

Alge growth inside of a plastic tank. They are bad for that

Might want to take a look at your fuel tank and pump outside of your shop in the cemetery where you fill up all the equipment

bill they make oil filter cutters. they are like a big steel or cooper tubing cutter or exactly like a tailpipe cutter here in Niagara falls new york we have harbor fright comparing it to your ad it looks the same as your princeless auto. here in the states, they are under 20 loonies lol of course as a mechanic for a garbage company from 190-2011 I've seen the big tool companies with them too for 5 times that. snap on mac maco. a good way to check your paper pleats is I cut the top and bottom with a utility knife and then bunch them all together like an accordion and squeeze the stack of folded paper in your vice. not so much needed with a fuel filter but works great on oil filters miss the kids carving pumpkins with your sword knife collection lol like the old days. just last week's youtube suggestion was about eight years ago when you and the kids were carving pumpkins and I don't remember if you did but you kept saying your gonna get your chain saw to carve them cause they were so thick. I need to finish watching it I believe it was just over an hour-long lol those "worms" could have been algae and probably getting pumped from your holding tank, of course, I didn't see them in person so maybe they were just shredded leaves. kee up the great work. my two nephews just love your tractor videos. One 3 and one 5. they both have their own 1960s john deer the younger one has a 60s model 60. little 8 or 10 hp lawn tractor and the older one has a newer 60s 110 not your 110 backhoes but another 10 hp 32 or 36-inch cut mower .both run and cut even knowing they have those junk Tecumseh mowers anything but those. they went out of business in the 90s I believe and now harder to get good parts

That does look like leaves. Is the tip of the pump nozzle at the big tank open where a leaf might get blown up into it and stuck? Other than that it would seem to be impossible for a leaf to get in there without a vandal. Could also be a build up of some kind.

You must have trees close to your fuel tank.you got the leaves into it when you filled up the tank

Take the sender unit and float out and you will have more openings. Pressure wash it out or steam it.

How much is a gallon of diesel up your way, Bill? Thanks
Maybe you should use the paint filter when you fill up at the pumps.

  • @brianrutherford3681

If you get water in fuel and it gets into the injectors you will blow the tips off the injectors.water will compress to much and blow the tips off.then you just killed the engine.it will need a full rebuild and complete draining of the fuel system.
