    Run that bottom sieve around 0 on our 770 and it runs those unthreshed pods back thru and cleans that sample up. Deere guy recommended it

    Great drone footage and cinematography. Your ability to balance your incredible work load with the energy and wit that you pack into your videos is amazing.

      Thanks for your excellent video.
      Your combine should be able to push a 60 foot Honeybee or the new 62 foot GTS Brazilian head thru those beans.
      Faster production as well and less passes across the field.
      Demo one for us all to see.@@6thGenFarmer

    Cool drone shots, something about a combine cutting it’s way through a field never gets old.

    Walkie talkeis (radios) work perfectly we found them in security invaluable

    Machine Sync would work great if you have multiple operators that way combine operator can keep cart where they want it

    Thank you! Your dad does a good job on Here. Is it worth putting a green moisture tester on the cart?

    • @6thGenFarmer
      @6thGenFarmer  Před 11 měsíci

      I’m going to be honest, we really have not used our since we put it in. I’m sure there are people out there that really like it but we always get the moisture off of our trucks and it’s more accurate.

    Stop whining about “only phones, no radio” - think about how we farmed in the 90s and before: NO communication, except if you climb on the combine 😂
    But I love your videos, watching all of them from start to end! 😊

    I am sure you could put 2000 bushel hoppers on combines, and they would still get over filled.

      They only make 1 size of grain tank, 10 bu short of making the headland

    I bet you could actually charge people for the farming experience. A lot of people would love to run a harvester or a cart but will never get the chance.

    Congrats on starting harvest, we got started yesterday, ran about 6 hours before the emissions shat it’s pants and then we got derated lmao.
    By the way, how much do those monster hopper extensions hold?

    • @6thGenFarmer
      @6thGenFarmer  Před 11 měsíci

      Awesome to hear more people out harvesting! I believe they call it 650-700bu hopper. Here is the link to their website

    Is it not hard on the combine carrying that much weight when the hopper is full

    • @6thGenFarmer
      @6thGenFarmer  Před 11 měsíci

      It is not really that good for the combine. Some say it causes final drives to go out. We haven't had any issues yet in the 5 or so combines that have had this hopper but we try not to use it too much, mainly when opening fields

  • @BGFKevin
    @BGFKevin Před 11 měsíci +1

    And people wonder why final drives break on combines… 😒

    • @6thGenFarmer
      @6thGenFarmer  Před 11 měsíci +1

      This is our 5th combine with this grain hopper and we have only ever cracked a rim, but since we have switched to lsw we haven’t had an issue

    HAVING ALL that info from the grain cart is over kill and its unproductive in my opinion , as I bet its cost alot $$$$ !!! but a great video as usual :)

    • @6thGenFarmer
      @6thGenFarmer  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Depends on what you have. We have a truck scale at our grain setup so for us it’s not absolutely necessary. But, I would say my efficiency has increased as a grain cart driver because I no longer need to record anything. When I pull up to the trucks i know which trucks have how much on them and it tells me how many pounds to put on. Necessary? No… super handy and effective? Yes
      Thanks for the comment!

    Don’t like music on farming vids

    • @6thGenFarmer
      @6thGenFarmer  Před 9 měsíci

      Some people do and some don’t. I always just say if you don’t like the music use the mute button. If drones had microphones I would just play the noise of the equipment.
