These songs are included in "Point Of Origin" by Arrival (Retrospect Records) which came out in 2008.
All these tracks were recorded between 1986 and 1987.
I got the original CD and the audio quality is not that great...but strangely in this unofficial release, the sound quality is much, much better.
My favourite track is Born For Broadway, but I like them all for different reasons.

Amazing AOR. Great songs. Tremendous effort. Wonderful final results, Free has always had the AOR in his blood, even this Yacht Rock/West Coast AOR.

Runnin' in the Dark quantifies a recurrent theme in a lot of this music......always seems to be better in motion in the darkness. I can already tell this is going to be a great night-driving album

Ric Cabot Podmore It's an unofficial release. ARRIVAL recorded two albums, right? Point Of Origin and Delayed. But I guess that "Point Of Origin" wasn't the original title of the album. Thank you sir :)
As far as I know Delayed is by a gospel rock band of the same name, so a different band altogether. Got both albums on cd. I love the song No Time To Lose (The President's Man), but Point Of Origin is a stronger effort throughout.

You're right, the two albums don't sound alike. It's probably because of the long gap between the recordings and the change in the market, in the late 90's it was all about ''melodic rock'', not AOR.
