That looks like a great book - I shall be getting that, thanks. 👍 I've got as far as adding a scarf and a moustache with Green Stuff - it always sticks to things I don't want it to, and not where I need it! 😂 Cheers.
My sculpts look like a blind person or someone having a fit has done them :)
Looks a great book, a good honest review. Very useful for me when I sculpt the crew for my scratch built 1:12 StuG IIIG
Have you seen the AK figure sculpting and converting techniques book, pretty damned good. And I'm just not saying that because my works in there either.
Hello. In your opinion which books should I buy to learn how to model and paint figures? I have a collection of vallejo books but they are most about dioramas, scenery and weathering. I'd like to get the best at paiting 1/35 from ancient times, ww2 to modern days. I bought Angel Giraldez book but I feel it miss something, as I'm not into Infinity. I wanna be able to custom them according to my wishes. Can you direct me to the right path? Thanks
Hi Mate
To tell you the truth I think CZcams is probably better to learn how to paint these days than books so many talented people painting on here and to get all that for free. I love having books in my collection but you learn so much by actually watching someone paint in "real time".
Here is a great example of what I mean!!! czcams.com/video/aVYw5hWJu_I/video.html
Yes im right there with yeah I have collected those books as well and the two you didn't have and that I have them buy you are not missing anything both SP and BH have little to no information very generic. Those books you do have are best available books on the market to current offerings! All day I'm to words that teach me!
Great thanks for letting me know and watching :)
