- from 1988-1991 jason was maybe one of the biggest teenage hearthrob, and pop Singer in Uk and eurobe, but in 1992 Jasons career chanced, he was chosen to play Joseph in Andrew lloyd Webbers Musical " Joseph and the amazing technicolar Dreamcoat", Andrew wanted the biggest popstar and ofcourse that was jason. and of course the musical was a smashhit for jason, the tickets was outsold, during Jasons performence. This song is from the musical, and is my favorite song from the musical.

Like I told you his voice is baritone. But he was forced to sing in tenor. Tenor is not his voice ranges.
Stupid PWL. They didn't allow him to write his own songs and he was not allowed to sing live. Joseph proved the people that he can sing.
+TheMsiaddict yes your are so rigth, however I do like his PWL songs to, but he certainly proved he could sing with this musical and the album All around the world. I think the problem was that Jason was a very handsome, gourgeous man, he was the times Justin Bieber i have heard, so people didn´t care of jasons singing, they saw him as a hearthrob. His looks became his curse

But he was tired of that. That's why finally he left PWL. His single Any Dream Will Do was number one.
But his All Around The World Album was a confusion. Rock fans disliked it because it has some old PWL songs that's really clashed with the whole album.
PWL fans disliked it because there's no new dance songs there.
Jason was upset because he didn't like his classy album was "marred" by his old records.
And he was depressed because he lost 2 million pound contract from Polydor.
Under Polydor he sang live on top of the pop program for the first time.

So yes iam very, very sad, losing one of my heros, so like everyone else well of course i wanted to pay my tribute to my hero.
