Pomona is definitely my favorite swap meet. I’ve gotten a Lotta parts, and good prices. Plus, I enjoy seeing all the cool cars on display.

Man, not promoting Pamona Swap shame on CZcams. It might be common to you, but not all of us are that lucky to be near or have access to a swap meet like this one. Thank you Mike, speaking for myself, my first year of retirement will be between CA and TX swap meets. Most likely will have to go back to work after that.😅😅😅
One time the CZcams studio analytics said my audience wasn't interested in one of the Pomona videos. Six of my top twelve videos of all time are Pomona Swap Meet videos. There's defiantly something wrong on YT's end.

These swapmeet videos are my favorite of Mikes channel. Even though I’m up in Oregon I have bought cars out of California and Texas. Dry state cars are definitely worth it. 15:08 a lot of these bondo jobs were done in the 70’s by broke high school kids like me who didn’t have the tools or knowledge to do metalwork. I had three 57’s by the time I graduated in 76. My best one I bought for 325 and painted, put in a diamond stitch interior, replaced the powerglide with a T-10, upgraded the 283 to a Z28 302 and sold it in 1980 for 2800 dollars. Oh those were the days.
I have talked to a guy from Ireland who bought a few cars from my swap meet video. Those bondo jobs today were done years ago when those cars were inexpensive.
26:28 I’d say the Glory Days for Disneyland were 10-20 years ago when my son was growing up. It wasn’t so busy and annual passes were reasonably priced and in addition to that you got perks. For example, if you were an annual pass holder and you were in the park on your birthday they’d give you a fifty dollar gift card. It was fun to go around the shops and decide what to buy with the 50. I made sure to spend my birthday at the park. During the winter if you got a little rain the park would empty out. The last couple hours before closing the cast members on Splash Mountain would let you just stay on and go around and around. We’d fly down early in the morning from Portland into John Wayne and be on our first ride before lunch. I miss the Big Thunder Ranch barbeque. Was there a year and a half ago and was just too busy.
They used to have special pass holder events after closing as well, which often involved sections of the parks being limited to just those who were registered for the event. These days the parks are always crowded. They brought out the SoCal deal for Monday-Thursday, which keeps it crowded on those formerly quiet days. Parents pull their kids of of school during the week to save $100 per person per day. The paid lighting lane has made the lines insane as well.

Why do they flag you got music, I see lost a you CZcams car things with music going the hole time ?
Some channels don't do dialog and just mute the audio and put generic copyright free music in it's place. I like to talk about the cars and get the ambient sounds of the show. Unfortunately CZcams will copyright flag for music picked up by the microphone.

I put them in the tentative list. The swap meet usually has the next two years of dates on their website.
Overpriced bad conditioned used or classic cars. This is what I have been seeing at the Pomona Swap Meet for years now.

It's really wrong that recorded music played in public can cause the free speech of others to be blocked. People speaking have a copyright on their words and the atmosphere, last time I checked didn't belong to ABSCAM.
Why does recorded background music have a stronger free speech than humans in a public space??
From what I understand any music caught in the background that isn't added by myself should be considered "unintentional," and be considered fair use. Unfortunately CZcams often makes it difficult to contest this. I did have to contest it on the Olvera Street show and they reversed the copyright claim within a few hours.
I had a video taken down because a band in a parade was playing a copyrighted song. I had to mute it.
But my point is that our speech is as protected as someone's music in a public space.
By protecting the music they are in effect censoring the speakers in the same space. The final point is that speech seems to me to be more important than music when it comes to protecting something.
Those tack’s are hard to find!
