Sometimes having to switch in someone nitch for a stage ( Mav , Chasun for a healer, Woochi for att bar controller, even have a dark Homie ( Cryptkeeper ) set up to do damage based on neg. effects. Who would be a good 5th? Jeanne, to keep the enemies provoked?
I use barretta rica water homunculus mav and woosa. Sometimes swap in fire twins. :) You’re right though about him and rica. I do barretta >rica> homu turn order and the dots are INSANE. Easy clears

I actually use my Homunculus in ToAH all the time in pretty much any stage that doesn't involve artamiel (I even use him against Ragdolls and Jultan) and he is on SPD/CD/ATK build with lots of speed, CR and some 50ish acc. I get the idea that a ToA homunculus would be better tanky, but he is just such a great farmer and also incredible at AO and GWO, it seems like a complete waste to put him on tanky runes just to use him on ToA which I usually finish in like... 5 days or so. Also, just a suggestion for future videos like this, but... Wouldn't be better if you mentioned alternative options for runes and skills? Like... Mine is on Violent with the 3rd skill being the stun instead of the Dots, because I can just let Baretta and Mantura take care of Dots while what I really wanted was a mob that could reliably stun and have good AoE atb decrease, instead of relying on Despair for stuns and stuff. He works really nicely and I definitely wouldn't auto most ToAH stages if it wasn't for him... Not to say Dots with Despair isn't great too though (rather, most homunculus I have seen are exactly like that), I just think it would be a good idea to mention different build ideas to fit into people's needs. (like, anyone with a Rica would be waaaaaaaaay better building a stunner homunculus over a dotter homunculus, since Rica + Baretta would bring all Dots anyone could ever need, while anyone with Verad would be much better off with the dotter one.) Tyron + Rica + Water Homunculus (All Despair focus) 200 spd + Loren = total control. Enemy cant move. 5th unit can be any Support like atb booster or healer to be safe/ bring 2A Sath and watch them burn
I ran a spd,cd,att homu with low hp only like +7k hp I think or lower, he was around 160 spd on swift/fight, about 70 cr and 150+ cd, he worked for safe auto runs and even toah rush for top 5 runs. You can definitely run a cd homu in toah, and my runes and teams weren't even that great tbh, I had basically c2 level of runes at best and toah teams didn't get rune priority so they had like f3/c1 quality runes at best. I used the same skill tree as you but sometimes I switch the skill 2 to the one where he absorbs atb, I pref that one. If you use light fairy(sd)/light undine(hoh) then you don't worry about ragdoll stage and if you do then you are running a bad team tbh or haven't farmed the light fairy, and for jultan stages my homu usually died b4 both jultans but I used dots and by the time he got to use s3 they were maxed on debuffs after his dots so the jultans died by the 2nd turn they took. CD build works better also because lower stages he kills faster and even on higher stages he helps kill a little faster. I feel like you are just stuck on 1 idea and not exploring all the possibilities you can do, the cd build works in toan, toah, hoh, farming, fire rift beast and if you wanted some pvp. Your build works in toah and maybe toan but slows you down in toan.
Ya, sometimes I dot understand his statements about monsters too. I guess its allways a matter of preference, but I prefer a hard hitting Homunculus. Toah on auto with this guy

Basically it is "Crowd" "Control", meaning you can control the crowd to your will. Cc(Crowd control) skills are stuns, freezes, attack bar reductions, sleeps. They are harmfull effects than make the enemy unable to attack, unable to move and generally unable to do anything at all. By using more cc skils you turn the tables of the fight because while you are free to use your skills and destroy the opponent, the opponent will be unable to do anything at all. That style of play is reaaally powerful, especially on ToA. Now remember that cc skills don't work on the bosses so you should not rely completely on cc but use it to your advantage.

I use water homie for my toah auto team, but its not runed like this. Mine is spd crit dmg atk. I just auto toah with Posideon, gany, water homie, fire twins. Everyones on crit dmg except gany.
i have verad rica this homie a healer and baretta even on my toa/h team and its auto on normal to 99 and 100 depending on the boss and till like 80 on hard. on 80hart i have to click the boss phases cause the ai sux but from 81 till 90 its auto and so on
that stage 57 was still a close call to be honest, dunno if it should be called a god. it is just good. if less would been stunned there, they would been dead.

I use Jamire, Poseidon, Ganymede, Homu, Fran. They don't have a chance to attack.
Personally for my TOA homunculus i use the ATB absorb on his S2 its less overall CC but it helps him turn cycle better to get his DoT up more often.
I was wondering about that as well if it is more efficient overall.
