- How's it going everyone? I've been asked a lot about why not just make a trail rig instead of trailing a comp rig? Well how about making a comp rig that can trail ride? I try to show that in this video and I think we nailed it.

Looked great trailing, good all purpose rig in my opinion it does comes down to the driver of what they want to do with it comp or trail or bash . As always great builds and vids keep them coming bro.
Thank you so much for your comment and support. It helps tremendously. You know. Even with all the rigs I have I simply can’t beat an old fashion rtr. Put a battery in and just cruise. Time to buy one. Especially after Axials new launch today. Teaser but worth it.

In this rig I’m able to run a Protek 4800miah shorty back no problem. That sucker ran for 7miles. The servo died before the battery did.
Looked good man & I think they are all trail/comp rigs it's up to the driver on how they set it up & driving techniques for each trail/ line they do but the bottom line is having fun with a tiny truck lol & seeing what you can do with it keep up the great vids man 👍

I really wanted to see if a comp rig could really trail with things like having a smaller batter, overdrive heating up things, a little spicer electronics, etc….. You said it. It’s the setup and how it’s driven. Thank you again for your support.
The biggest difference between a trail/comp rig, in my opinion is weight. Both my rigs are more trail than comp. Both heavy at the axles and I try not to add any more weight than i have to above that level. Meaty tread helps where I live to(east KY), my best trail tire being RC4WD Micky Thompson Baja Pro-X 1.9 so far, alot more cleaning involved after a run but alot more fun. I've got a few high-end parts for a comp rig plus all the stock parts to put a comp rig together, I would just rarely be using it for that purpose due to my location and other factors.
