    Judging by the shape of the bit holder looks like it has a wire clip inside to grip the bit, which are quite strong on the screwdrivers that I have with that mechanism. The problem with these screwdrivers with unique bits is obtaining replacement bits if you loose or break them, especially a problem with Klein and their ball bearing retained bits, not seen those anywhere in the UK.

    • @MORGANSMaintenance
      @MORGANSMaintenance Před 8 měsíci +1

      Yeah that’s what it has. So pretty much anything with a 1/4” shaft you can throw in this screwdriver.
      I thought I filmed showing it, but it must have been in the first take I ended up losing.
      You are right on the specific bits, they are one shot bits. Bits usually last a long time as a screwdriver, but now if you can take them and put them in your impact they are likely to break more often.
      It won’t surprise me if these bits in this screwdriver won’t be sold by Klein in a package by themselves for people to buy just to use in impacts.

    Can you swap bits in the bit holder? Will the holder accept other style 1/4" bits or will it only catch the Kleins? If you wanted to customize your carry...

    • @MORGANSMaintenance
      @MORGANSMaintenance Před 5 měsíci

      Where the bit snaps in is on the hex part of the 1/4” shaft… so you can. The Klein bits are 2-3/4” long so they have to be shorter than that.
      The Klein bits also only snap in at one spot, so you might need to use bits close to as long as the Kleins… so it’s enough to snap in, but not to short that they can slide out of that spot and be loose in the handle. (That’s hard to explain)

  • @nachoisme

      Yeah I though I filmed it, but it must have been on a messed up video.
      It has two prong type things inside that make it a friction fit on a 1/4” shaft. Not a ball bearing. Everything holds in really well… right now. We will just have to see if that loosens up over time. I haven’t seen that setup before

  • @tcatrccreations

    I’m not sure of the length of the stock Klein bits included in this ratcheting driver, but are these bits the same size as the 2” or 3” length doubled sided bits that Milwaukee makes? If so, that would allow people to use those bits possibly and not rely on just the Klein bits.

    • @MORGANSMaintenance

    I really wish Klein collabbed with mega pro and made those screwdrivers in Canada/USA instead of Mexico. It would literally be one of the best multibit screwdrivers ever made and only cost like 10 dollars more...

      I would like to see them make the bit holders on these a little better. They are ok… but that is what ends up failing after some time. I’d gladly pay $10 more for better product with any brand.

    These Hand Tool companies that make these intricate *All-in-Ones Screwdrivers* 🪛 NEED to better Design/Engineer the Bit-Insert Cap so it securely locks 🔓 and does NOT 😤 open!

      Yeah they make them a little cheap I guess to keep their prices down, but I’d pay a little more for better quality 👍

    I use the wiha hex drivers a lot in my line of work. I didn't know Klein made them too. Don't forget to try the Tough Built insulated screw drivers.

      I think the Klein are new. I haven’t seen them in the store yet… or this screwdriver.
      I will check those ToughBuilt ones out 👍
