someone should make a glass convertible cover, not the top but you know the cover that lifts up to store the top. Would you be able to see the engine like on the coupe or does the top get in the way when stored? I just really wish the convertible had the glass engine display that shit's so cool like in Iron Man (on the coupe)
To fully turn off any kind of assistance (ESP/ASR) you have to press the esp button for 10 seconds, then it'll show "ESP/ASR OFF", only then the car comes alive

In the new audi's you have to press it for 10 sec like not just a press thats when its all of bc i had an 2006 audi a6 and when you oressed the esp off it went off in my new audi a6 2014 you have to keep it 15 sec

Feels about twice as fast as This R8 and slightly faster than a huracan.

After 6 years of driving stick i am done with it way to easy and old tech.
paddles are the way to have full control over a car.
***** they try to be exclusive thats why they pref driving stick to stand out abit i find that a stupid ass reason cause stick slows me down i know how to power shift like a idiot but it screws me over when i compare it to my GTR i just destroy the road.

ED kratos lol 'manual ricers' sure ok. I am not taking sides on which is better because they BOTH have their advantages in different situations. Like stick gets better gas mileage, as well as they are usually cheaper than automatics becuase not so many people know how to drive stick anymore. But then the automatic side has advantages such as its easier for any person to hop in the drivers seat and go. And you dont risk stalling out. But, even if you dont drive stick you should know how because you never know when you might have to drive a stick car, say to take someone to the hostpial.
People are very wrong to believe sunny days are best for convertible , warm and cloudy much better days

Living in a place where it's regularly 35-40c, convertibles are not great here (I have one). You get burnt and the interior gets ruined. Convertibles are best when it's 15-25c.

The top should be down 95% of the time. Yeah, the blinkers are cool, unless you want someone to actually know where/when you are turning. Absolutely hate the electronic dash! Nicer cockpit than the lambo

can someone explain to me shift paddles? why do some auto cars have them
So you can change gears without having to move the shifter knob to the right. You may want to downshift before an overtake for example and paddle shifters allow for that to happen quicker
but if its an automatic, wouldnt it do it automatically?
it might, but it would be much slower than you doing it manualy

+MrGreezersChumb In automatic cars you have the option of driving it in manual and automatic, if you choose manual you use the shifters, if you choose automatic, the shifters are disabled so you dont need to shift anymore

notdescribed might be just me but the convertible is not only horrible for continuing the line flow but the red takes the cake for making it all horrendeous.

Bradley Parkinson it will do 600 with a remap. Problem with the gallardos is they have the old clunky robotised semi automatic, it's rubbish.

I think that the convertible versions of the R8, Gallardo, and 350z all look rather ugly compared to their non convertible counter parts. The top just gets cut short because it must be able to fold back, which then makes the cockpit look very small and the part where it folds back is just blank. Much rather own the non spyder version.
