I love how he is all about doing the makeup / teaching and forgets to mention the product name or what he’s using and how Carli asks what he’s using - it’s refreshing to see he so passionate about the art and making his client feel beautiful that he’s not a salesman even though it’s his own brand ❤️

What Mario is also teaching is: PATIENCE. He takes a long time to do this wonderful make up and so this proves how patience is a quality that is really needed for everything. That's why he's so good at what he does.

This by far is the BEST collab I’ve seen on YT bc their vibe is SO flowy and natural and I think it’s bc they seem to both have the same personality. Altho soooo successfully and talented, they r both so kind and humble.

I love that Mario didn’t contour your nose! Sometimes, a nose contour can make or break a good makeup look! Not contouring your nose for this look was the way to go! You looked soft like a doll!

Watching this really warmed my heart. Since covid hit, I became a mom for the first time last year in October and fell out of my love for makeup for a while (I've hardly worn any since the beginning of last year).... But Carli, watching you and Mario really inspired me and made me fall back in love with it!! I love makeup not because I'm insecure, but I love it as another form of art. Mario is an amazing makeup artist and his application is like an artist. I LOVE how the look came out and honestly Carli I thought your look came out absolutely beautiful without the nose contour. We've seen you contour the nose for so long I just really felt it looked so beautiful without.

Wow wow wow. There were so many amazing parts in this video. Both of your energies were such a perfect match together - so genuine and down to earth, but so happy. And when he asked how Carli has managed to stay out of all beauty guru drama - I've always wondered that too!!! I've always loved that about her though and the fact that she never left her hometown/state. It seems like she and Mario have that in common - prioritizing certain parts of your life that might not be the "popular decisions" in the beauty world while still maintaining a great career.
