  • Rick puts some RSI handlebar grips on his Arctic Cat snowmobile. The Cat grips have about 4000 miles on them and it was time to finally change them. Ricko suggests staying with black handlebar grips on your snowmobile because the lighter the color, the dirtier they get.

    I knew about the air trick, but those definitely look great. Like the lacquer thinner idea too.

    Your videos are sure entertaining! I have used the air hose to replace grips several times. It works great!

    Awesome video! I have a 1999 SkiDoo Summit that needs new grips and hand warmers. This is a big help. If you do change out the hand warmers on one of your sleds please post that video. Thanks!

    Rick, great video , you worked so hard today !!
    You should have a beer or two from the keg mini fridge behind you . I think you should do a video on the keg mini beer fridge. Where to get it and why its so important to have in a garage.

    Yes that’s the way we doo it. The skidoo has a hole in each grip so you have to plug the opposite grip if air is escaping. Having a camera woman with happy fingers is helpful

    Shaving cream is slippy and acts like a glue when it dries.

    I always fill my bars with spray foam to help with heating on the bars.

    Can you do a video on how to change all 4 bearings on a Sno Pro Style sled from start to finish? I can't find one on CZcams anywhere for the newer style sleds.

    Busted a bar once!!! Used a branch some duck tape and mechanics wire to fab up a way to get out

    Never cut on heater element, one slip and now you need element and insulation

    I need some advice ive gota 21 zr tried putting on cat scratchers and found idler wheel in road Any idea other then taking wheel off

      New cats have two idler wheels each side scratcher cant get hung up on rail when not in use have you ever heard of having to remove wheel to install scrathers

      If theres any movement with throttle block or brake reservoir assembly , start there ! Also depends on sled and where the control switch is ?
