Nestor Ivanovych Makhno, commonly known as Bat'ko Makhno, was a Ukrainian anarchist revolutionary and the commander of an independent anarchist army in Ukraine from 1917-21. Isn't this who the song is about? Or am i just really stupid.

This song isn't about Nestor Makhno, it's about the "Little Red Devils", a story by Pavel Blyakhin. It also had a famous film adaptation, known as "Neulovimye Mstiteli" (lit. The Elusive Avengers), about a band of teenagers who fought *against* Makhno and the Russian White Army.
The dead giveaway is the chorus:
"Myortvye s kosami vdol dorog stoyat"

That's what Illyukha Verekhov said to his fellow anarchists, after the Little Red Devils foil his plan to steal cows from the peasantry.
Except the anarchists weren't stealing cows from the peasantry. The opposite. They freed them to seize and redistribute land and property, to run their own farms, factories etc., themselves.

Помню, в 89 или 90, Советская армия, Бакинская учебка, на строевом смотре перед командованием проходит взвод молодого литёхи и запевает: "Батька Махно смотрит в окно", что там началось, это был трэш.
Это ладно, в 89-90... Я служил 85-87, че-то мы где-то накосячили, не помню уже и всю роту вывели на плац на строевую подготовку после ужина. Запевала шкодный был пацан, затянул " We will rock you", мы подхватили припев... Дежурный по бригаде услышал, штаб рядом был, быстро строевая свернулась😂😂😂
Мы на вечернюю прогулку выходили с Бременскими, а потом запевали Спят усталые игрушки ...

Fun fact but that photo in the background isn't actually of anarchists but of Republican shock troops in 1917. The round patch the fella on the left is wearing is that of the shock units that were made up of volunteers from the rear. The shoulder boards and the romanov cockade are also give aways.

I think Communism is a more wholesome theory, with its own social and economic science and studies. Proof? An agricultural country with a plantation based economy and at the level of development of an average Latin American country skyrocketed to acquire one of the world's best educational system, healthcare system, settled atomic energy, flew to space,etc etc. Everything in less than 40 years. The bitter part here is that the communist party which mission was to replace the capitalist monopolies with their lobbying powers and influence on the government became a political monopoly by itself. We received the class of professional politicians. Who decided to return the privileges of privately owning a factory even at the cost of country's existence in 1990s. If the people treated the party and the worker's councils a.k.a. "the soviets" as anarchists, like a mere self-organisation measure needed to keep things over country in concert, the country would be alive and good. And the mere existence of oligarchs wouldn't be possible.

U know, quite recently the chairman of the accounting chamber of Russia and the ministry of labor published some intriguing numbers. They did it independently and separately, but if u put them together, u'll get an astonishing picture. Average Russian worker produces goods and services for the value of 25$ every hour. But is paid only 2.5$ for the same focking hour. But it's Russia. With very little complex industry left. And what if we take Japan for example? They have thousands of times more industrial robots than let's say modern Russia. And yet people die there from exhaustion on their workplace. It's exploitation! Not a direct slavery, but something not far from dat. Even inside the richer countries! I really love the motto: "democratize the enterprise"! If there are huge and influential corporations, they must be run neither by the government, nor by the private owners. They hire directors anyway! The workers' councils must supervise these directors! Toyota, BASF, Siemens, Intel, whatsoever....

We live in a world where any song in Russian is perceived as “Soviet” and “communist”. Even if it’s “God Save the Tsar” or, fucking, a folk song about sex. Not to mention the anarchist songs
This is a song from the Soviet group "Lube" for the Soviet film "The Elusive". The film is dedicated to 4 teenagers who, in a group of red partisans, oppose anarchists. The film is both pure propaganda against anarchists, who are shown as simple bandits, and is a kind of “Western”. Since several American Western films became popular in the USSR, they filmed their response, taking the setting of the civil war, remembering that in the Free Territory of Makhno there was lawlessness at the level of the Wild West. The song itself sounds during the last battle, when with revolver fire they force Makhno and his people to run away beyond the horizon. So if you know the context, this is not an anarchic song at all

В советское время спели, поэтому и считается. а на деле эта песня вообще про неудержимых мстителей. Да и анархисты анархистам рознь как таковым ибо индивидуалисты и стало быть интересы одних пересекутся с интересами другим. Я недавно вообще узнал что есть даже подвиды анархизма, тот же анархо-синдикализм или анархо-капитализм, два самых мейнстримных современных течения.
