Northport Boys and Girls club sees success after re-opening

Less than one month ago, the Boys and Girls club opened its doors in the Northport community after being closed for more than 25 years.
Since opening, the club has served 50 kids in the Northport area this summer. The club has now started a wait list for their summer camp they are expecting the same for their after school program in the fall.
The club has provided academic assistance, leadership programs, and field trips to more than 50 children.
People living in the community say the program has provided a valuable resource for the city of Northport.
