Mam,standard value of J = 16, here it was 8 so we divided it into 2 blocks. What if the value of J comes out to be a number say 7 or 9, then how should be proceed for the same ?
JAGRIT BHAGAT Hi! Actually the Rice adaptive coding technique requires input data to be split into block of size J equal to 8 or 16 n-bit samples ( the maximum value of n is 32).
If we are dividing the blocks and finding its unary code on the basis of K, M, N then why to find the whole table previous one of Di, Ti , xi because those values we are not using anywhere , then what's the use to calculate such a big table ??
Drashti Jani Hi! Rice code implementation splits into two parts- preprocessor & coding.so the values of di, Ti,xi is evaluated by preprocessor and according to that coding is done by one of four option in which the value of k,m,n is used (split sample option).pls watch the previous video for more clearly. Thanks
Mrigank Singh Hi! Actually in question it is given that we have to use one split sample option that's why we are using m=1.but if we have to use three split sample option in encoding then at that time m=3. Thanks.
Just amazing! I was even able to learn all the conditions while watching!
Nice Mam very helpful for exam
Superb explanation mam! Good job ❤️❤️
great explaination
Nice explanation....
very good explanation tq
Good understanding Ma'am
nice
Very nice
Thank u
Thanks a lot mam :)
Thanku mam
Thank you mam 🙂❤️
what does the value of J actually signify ??
Tysm☺☺
Mam, what is the lower limit of 2nd condition to calculate x(i) and when it would be applicable ?
It's -Ti
Mam last mein 2 block ka bhi binary representation codeword nikalna hain

Video is really helpful.. Thanks..
for 2nd block when number is 0 and binary representation is 000000 code will be 0 or 01
Is there a mistake -0Ti
The minimum value of Ti are -32,0,1,3,2,4,3,2,1,1,1,1,2,1,1,0. The value you write while solving the question is not minimum.
What does -0Ti in the range for xi mean??
Owais Iqbal Hi! This means that xi=2|di|-1 when -Ti
Means there should not be a 0 before Ti
Owais Iqbal yes
Good explanatory video..
Thank you
how you have got m=1?
Mrigank Singh Hi! For encoding we have to use one split sample option that's why m=1. Thanks
so whenever we will use split sample we will take m=1?

Okay maam not i have got
Thank you :)
