In 1951, Hindus were nearly 30% of the population of East Pakistan ( today’s Bangladesh) . Now it is less than 10%. In India, Muslim population has gone up from 9% to over 15%. Facts suggest your comment is nonsensical
@@ramachandrankannan274 Why you people are not considering the conversion into Muslim from another religions? Plus, many Hindus are migrating in India because of better environment with the majority of their own religious people.
@@ramachandrankannan274The main reason for the decline in the number of Hindus in Bangladesh is the low birth rate. The birth rate among Hindus is slightly lower than that of Muslims. As a result, their population ratio has naturally decreased somewhat. Let's give an example: If there are 10 people living in a locality, out of which 8 are Muslims and 2 are Hindus. In this case the figures will be 80% Muslims and 20% Hindus. After 05 years, 08 Muslims each had 02 children ie 16 + 8 = 24 people and the remaining two Hindus had 01 child each. That is 4 people. After 10 years Muslim population will be 64 and Hindu population will be 10/11. In this case the percentage of Muslims will be around 86.49% and the percentage of Hindus will be around 13.51%. The decline in Hindu figures here does not mean that they have fled to India. It is a bit difficult to get completely specific data from 1971 to 2024. This can be implied on the basis of some rough facts. 1974 Census Information: - **Muslim Population:** About 85% - **Hindu Population:** About 13% 1981: Muslim population 86.7% and Hindu population 12.1% 1991: Muslim population 88.3% and Hindu population 10.5% 2001: Muslim population 89.7% and Hindu population 9.2% 2011: - **Muslim Population: About 90% - **Hindu Population: About 8.7% 2022 : - **Muslim Population: About 91% - **Hindu Population:** About 8% Again the point will be clear if we look at the population statistics of India. 1971 Census: Hindu population: about 82.7% Muslim population: about 12% 1981: Hindu population: about 82.6%, Muslim population: about 11.3%, 1991: Hindu population: about 82.4% Muslim population : About 11.7%, 2001: Hindu Population: About 80.5%, Muslim Population: About 13.4%, 2011: Hindu Population: About 79.8%, Muslim Population: About 14.2%. According to estimates: Hindu population: about 78-79% Muslim population: about 15-16%. Now that the Hindu population is decreasing in India, can it be said that Hindus are moving to Bangladesh or Nepal in droves?? It would not be right to say.
@@ramachandrankannan274 , You are right about facts. But what are the real reasons behind these facts? Let's dive in. Know that Hindu population in Bangladesh grew in absolute numbers from year to year. Check all the past population census of Bangladesh. The number of Hindus in Bangladesh is more than that of anytime before. Therefore, Hindus in Bangladesh are not on the brink of extinction as you want to portray. But you are wrongly focusing on percentage of Hindus in relation to Muslims. That's a wrong and communal approach. But if you still want to take that route, then first let me point out that the rise of Muslim percentage in India is neither due to your secularism nor due to the goodwill of Hindus. It is all about fertility rates.. Please go and ask any economist. The population growth rate, as any economist would tell you, is related only to the economic condition of a population segment. In India the Muslims are the lowest of the low in economic terms, and therefore their population growth is high. The most Hindus in Bangladesh belong to the middle class and very few are below the absolute poverty level. This sir explains why Hindu fertility is below the overall fertility level in Bangladesh. This also explains why Muslim fertility is higher than the overall fertility rate in India. If you really want to hold back the Muslim population growth in India then focus on their economic upliftment. If you are not ready to do that then face the classic catch 22 situation. One cannot eat and have one's cake at the same time. Regards.
I believe our religious advisor could not answer some of your questions. One of your questions was about Hindu civil servants being terminated from their jobs. The fact is that lot more Muslim civil servants lost their jobs. The main reason civil servants were terminated is because of their corruption. This has happened to officers of all sectors in Bangladesh irrespective of their religious faith. One good example is Bangladesh Bank which has been almost been bankrupted by corrupt officials.
No civil servants has been forced to resign. Those who helped the autocratic government they were forced to resign. But most of them are teachers and political leaders. Not government officials.
In India, communal riots related to Muslim deaths occurred in various regions during different years. Here are some notable instances: - In 1961, in Aligarh - In 1962, in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh - In 1964, in Vibhavari, Maharashtra - In 1967, in Ranchi, Bihar - In 1969, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat - In 1970, in Vidyavihar, Jalgaon, and Malad, Maharashtra - In 1971, in Bihar - From 1978 to 1980, in Jamshedpur (Bihar) and Uttar Pradesh - In 1980, in Muradabad, Uttar Pradesh - In 1981, in Minakshipuram (Aligarh) and Bihar Sharif - In 1982, in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh - In 1983, in Assam - In 1983, in Bhagalpur, Bihar - In 1986, in Noida, Uttar Pradesh - In 1987, in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh - In 1989, in Bhagalpur, Bihar - From 1990 to 1991, in Aligarh - From 1992 to 1993, in Mumbai, Surat, Ahmedabad, Kanpur, and Delhi - In 1997, in Tamil Nadu - In 2000, in Ahmedabad - In 2001, in Kanpur and Maligaon - In 2002, in Gujarat - In 2003, there were a total of 711 communal riots related to Muslim deaths - In 2004, there were 677 such riots - In 2005, there were 779 such riots - In 2006, there were 698 such riots - In 1987, the Hashimpura massacre occurred - In 1992, the Bombay riots took place - In 1983, the Nellie massacre happened - In 2013, the Muzaffarnagar violence occurred - In 2002, the Gujarat riots took place - In 2020, the Delhi riots happened - In 2012, the Kokrajhar killings occurred - In 2014, the Ballabgarh lynching took place According to the Ministry of Home Affairs in India, between 1954 and 1992, there were approximately 13,356 major communal riots related to anti-Muslim sentiments. However, statistics show that since India's independence in 1948, there have been around 100,000 communal riots overall. Please note that these events have had significant social, political, and economic implications in Indian society. As for the statement about Brahmins, it suggests that as long as Brahmins hold power, discrimination against non-Brahmins and Muslims will continue. However, this statement does not represent the views of all Brahmins or Hindu nationalists.
@@TanjilRahman-nu8xv The question really should be who started the riots? Eg The 2002 Gujarat riots were started due to a group of Muslims burning alive Hindu pilgrims in a train. However, rarely anyone sheds a tear for the 300 Hindus killed
