I think Mourinho is a great appointment even if for 2 seasons. He’d realise it’s a very different charter & he’d enjoy the challenge. He’ll tighten us up and be more compact for a start.
Fair points about attention to details on set pieces, etc. However, you say the squad is not good enough yet- it’s filled with youngsters who are new to the league, that the Mgr needs some experienced players he asked for and didn’t get, and he’s been unlucky with key players injured for long periods, that he needs a proven experienced striker to get into champion’s league spots- but yet you random Utube content talking heads ( no disrespect) - who never took an underdog team to UCL final or a young inexperienced team to the league cup final - want him gone immediately because the very same team u say is inadequate for epl is now 11th in the table with more important games ahead.

To me the best coach for this team is Julian Nagelsman. He’s young, he has proven to know how to manage a low level and high level team. He’s winning record is fantastic. I bow for him but the 2 months job interview made him abandon the Chelsea job.

Been going Chelsea since 93 , this is the most toxic I can remember being . Yea the Benitez era was bad but we knew he would be gone by the end of the season , even when Ken bates was arguing with Mathew Harding BUT what is happening now is 10 times worst , the board , the players the manager , everyone is on the firing line at the moment . Since the new owners came in I have only been 6 times , they have royally fucked things up from top to bottom . Getting rid of the medical team and replacing them with the boards choice seems to be 1 of the worst , the injuries we have had in the last 2 years are a joke , from the Roman era where I can rarely remember a player being out a few months , let alone a whole season , the recruitment has been shocking , Sanchez , koulibaly , cucurella , fofana £200mil there wasted . They were never going to be good enough , over payed on caicedo , enzo , fofana , mudryk , cucurella . That’s all on the recruitment team that the board put in place . There is no point saying let’s go again in the summer , there is no more money to spend as we are going to breach FFP . So this is not a quick fix now , I believe the next couple of years we will see this inconsistency because of the squads age . As for poch I don’t know where I stand , sack him and it costs the club even more money ( that we don’t have ) . As 1 of the guys said we have gone toe to toe with city , Arsenal and Liverpool this season BUT the league cup final was unforgivable for me I think , that was he’s chance to put he’s stamp on the club and he bottles it but who to replace him with ? Unfortunately guys I don’t think there is a quick fix on any of these issues , the club is committed to £100 million every season now for the next 5/6 years for the players we have brought in the last 2 years . Gallagher needs a new contract but the club want the profit off him . We will need to sell Reece this summer or next to help with a rebuild ( personally really like gusto ) personally I think the club needs another left back ( chilwells injuries are ruining him ) another cb to replace Thiago at the end of the season . Another winger and a top striker but we don’t have the room for that at the moment . In a nut shell I think we’re fucked for a couple of seasons .

Roma spent more money than entire conference league teams combined that season , just look at Romas net spend under mourinho in his first season . Even Moyes won that joke cup. But when it came to big one which is UEL Jose lost it against much inferior team . Take a look at Romas from before and after Jose . Before Jose Roma had never won a European trophy. Since he arrived they won the Conference League and lost in the Europa League final..... that literally tells you he got them significant results
@CFCFANTV first season 6th finish ,second season 6th finish with around 120 mil spend (this is huge many in seria A). He left club at 8th (if memory serves well). I repeat my argument , to lose thst cup competition while playing that type of abhorrent football is inexcusable. We want league progress , we are not in cup competitions anyway. So whats the deal ? Bring him to park the bus and maybe luck out the fa ? There is reason why no elite club considers him ...
