well done buddy! how long did you give yourself before the exam ?
@@duckfuckyuck a solid three weeks of studying every day. I studied each part of the test once a day. For example, one day I would study all of 1.0. Then I review and take practice tests for each section after. The next day you do 2.0 and repeat. Then after you get through all 5 you take a bunch of practice tests and depending on how you do review what you need to. But I did that for 3 weeks so I reviewed each section 3 times. Whatever works for you but this worked well for me!! BEST OF LUCK DUDE

@@jakemartinez2772 I would also like to know what practice tests you took! The CompTIA website only has maybe 10 questions that encompass all of Core 1 and that just isent enough.
Did you have any prior experience in tech?
What I really like is that you not only explain the right answer, but you also explain why the other answers are wrong. 10/10 study material right here!

To echo you on the “you may need to support older operating system” point, at the university I worked at, a professor has a very expensive piece of lab equipment that can not use an OS newer than Windows XP. So, it had a dedicated computer that was as up-to-date as much as it could be and was never attached to a network.

Hello everyone, Pro Messer is Awesome, I amgoing thru a career change from Auto technician, toSSDI social security hurting myself at work in Automotive and now want to get into IT entry level. Im turning 50 soon and wanted an honest opinion what is my shot to get into the help desk and networking field? I have customer service and high end sales in my background. Please let me know It is really appreciated , Also Im in California so SSDI wont cut it bills are a lot ,living is a challenge and the state of the economy. Any advise would be great. How Can someone from Nigeria get this cert and how relevant is it for people in Africa
Hey I have a question I called CompTIA and they told me I can combine the old version with the new version. I said can I take the old exam retiring in October, then when I pass, could I take the new version of 1002 and she said yes.
The CompTIA website clearly states that "exams cannot be combined across the series."
