@@IAmStargaz3r Practice it with 0.25 speed, then 0.5, then 0.75 and finally normal speed. You'll get it right.

Notes ARE tabulation for violin. Note on a line, 1st or 3rd finger, between 2nd or 4th (or open) game of odds and evens and following the shape, and practicing your scales.
@Mira Agreste right now it’s okay if you use tabs to play music that you want to play, but once you get older and know more advanced techniques it’s probably best you learn how to read notes. The more advanced you get the harder the songs you play are. Right now I use these tabs to help me play songs that I love, but my brother advises when I get older I should read notes because that’s the beauty of the violin and all orchestra based instruments 🎻!

I'm an intermediate violinist, been practicing by ear since high-school, this song is gorgeous planning on playing it at my brothers wedding. To all those who are just learning this song is great to learn after learning the basics, I've learned take each section by section an hour of practice each day and youll have it mostly down XD as Im memorzing it to play without the sheet music know that perfect practice makes perfect! I believe in all of you!!!

I can read notes (in first position) but I do have trouble with them sometimes. (Mostly on the E string)
@@jakeambagan6565 it costs a lot to get a nice sound, 400-600, after you start getting the ones that are good there then cost doesn't really improve things after 1000. Every violin is different, i got a nice one for £40 second hand.

@@kamp5206 For vibratos, I remember a trick from my violin instructor to help with that: Move your finger continuously up and down so it makes a kind of weird sound (I'm not sure how to describe it), and then narrow down your movement gradually until you get to the one spot. By that point, you should get a vibrato. (It isn't something you can master first try, if that helps. It does take practice, but I know you can do it!

I played this when I was eight. I stopped playing for 3 years now, decided to play it again this quarantine, But somehow my 11 year old me doesn't have the confidence anymore. It made my mom sad that I stopped playing. Im going to learn it again for her :,(
You've got a long way to go, little one. Keep practicing and never give up on learning your instrument until you become a great violinist. :)) You will always be a musician / violinist even after you stopped playing for a long time, and you can always go back to your passion. iv'e been playing since i was 5, and this was one of my favorite songs to play.
In my class we played this and it touched my heart because I listened to this song 2 years before I learned to play the violin, I learned in 6th grade.

this is a great way to learn violin, for the slow parts of a song when it gets to about 2 minutes the numbers being so close and moving so fast it makes me nervous and I mess up my finger placement, not that I have a problem with the channel just voicing my opinion.
And my finger cramps have a slight problem with the speed.

It sounds amazing when you hear it for the first time. But after some time you kind of get sick of listening to it just because it's one of those overplayed songs. Still, playing this on any instrument is still hella fun

Low2.... the 2 is 2nd finger, and Low... H is for high. like H3 is 3rd finger high. If you get lost, just watch the red dot on the fingerboard... Hope this helps

Can this really be played in its entirety on a violin? I’ve been playing for little less than a month and can get up to 1:55 and then it’s time for fireworks. Seems that it’s more of a piano and cello composition.

Hi William, you will get it, I show a lot of open strings... but you will need to play them with your 4th finger on the lower string, to get up to speed.
but @ 1:55 after just one month of playing... is good.

Fiddling with my Whistle yeah...... most of us got sent to detention for messing up a part. After the video there was like 2 or 3 people were left in the class (The shy kids made it and one of them is me)... and the teacher said,”Y’all did horrible! Look at the Shy girls! They pay attention! You guys are the worst class I’ve ever met in my life beside them who made it and not mess up!”
