That I pod Nano is such a sweet moment in the show. I also just love the detail of Britta occasionally using it throughout the rest of the show. It's a really nice detail every time it shows up. Also the sperm thing is even more hilarious when you remember an earlier episode that talked about how pierce is infertile and therefor it's even more useless than before.
He doesn't say he's infertile. It's why he calls it "hypervirility"- his sperm is "too strong" for the process.
If he was infertile, he wouldn't have his lawyer tell Britta she could raise an army of genius babies once she got over her "lesbian lifestyle".

I think it’s heavily implied that was all in Jeff’s head. Abed later mentioned no one has been able to find what Jeff saw.
The reason why season 2 episode 8 was a bottle episode was because they invested all of the money into the wheelchair

I really hope for the (possible) Community movie they bring Chevy Chase as Pierce back. Maybe a flashback or something similar that doesn't need to retcon his death. Chevy Chase seems to be interested in a movie too.

Pierce regularly faked his impending death throughout the show so honestly, him turning out to be completely alive and well wouldn't even be off-brand for him.

I have a insane theory about how pierce isn't dead. Let's think about Pierce's death for a second. Later on in this episode it's stated that Pierce died of dehydration from making all of the sperm cylinders. So lets go over pierce's thinking process for a second. Pierce decides he is going to write up a will so he can give is possessions to the study group. Pierce decides to give them all sperm. Pierce dies of dehydration, This doesn't make any sense. Why on earth would Pierce Hawthorn of all people write a will when he's shown to have an aging complex. Then let's think about his motives for faking his death. In the beginning of season 5 we find out Pierce isn't allowed on Greendale due to a court case. Almost immediately after this he dies since they are only a few days into the semester Greendale, and The group is shown going to his funeral. If he died of dehydration then his death would be sudden, so now we have a timeline. Pierce gets kicked off campus sometime during the summer or the semester where Jeff wasn't there. School starts, Jeff and the group reunite. Soon after Pierce "dies" and leaves everything he has left to the group. Troy then leaves on a trip around the world. One where he is never seen again. HIs motive for faking his death is extremely obvious, all he has left is Greendale and now it's taken from him. So he fakes his death and starts over from square one, with a new identity somewhere out of America so he could be a free man. And if pierce was going to do this he would want to take a member of the group with him, one that he knew would give almost everything he cared about up for a chance to be a man (and also millions of dollars) Troy. I leave you with this closing statement. Pierce was always one who would try to one up the entire study group. If he had spent a year doing Coke on an island with John Denver don't you think we would have heard about this at some point, the entire thing just comes up out of no where. Not only that, but why would he get Levar burton again to go on the trip with Troy, he knew that last time Troy spoke to him he had a breakdown. On top of that wouldn't Levar be more expensive to get on board with the idea then just someone like his brother or a generic Hawthorn wipes employee. It's almost like he wanted to make sure There would be a news article about Troy getting taken by pirates so everyone would just assume they died. There's just one major problem. There are no pirates in the Pacific. they were primarily only found in the Atlantic. So either a gang of Pirates were extremely lost or pierce hired fake pirates to kidnap Troy and Levar to have them all hang out somewhere in the Atlantic ocean.
Impressive! Anything is possible with Pierce I guess.

@DAVID YEUNG Except Pierce did know about it. The only reason it was brought up in the episode was because Pierce told everyone about it. If pierce knew about it he probably found it, and placed it on his casket to throw off suspicion.

@@eastboundbirdMan this is a good theory. But it kinda of feels out of character for Pierce. He always was a mastermind wanna be in the end he always felt incompetent in that role. Like when he loses his turn in DnD or when he cant even find Jeff´s real father. its feels to smart for him. I still like it a lot and i want to believe its real. I liked it for a movie.
It could start with Abed working in his new Hollywood job (some time has passed since his PA job) and accidentally finding the canister in the anniversary of him joining greendale. The movie would be first him trying to find Jeff (since he knows hes the hero type that can reunite them all) Them Jeff and Abed reunite the cast and set on and adventure to find and rescue Troy.
The Twist would be that they find Troy ( i still dont no where he would be, maybe an island) but hes actually alone and happy, he was not kidnapped and Pierce was never alive. Them Abed has a revelation. He invented the "plot" to get to reunite the "cast" and find his lost friend. A he did it in the only way he knows, making up a "plot" about adventure in the way of Indiana Jones, his favorite movie.
