I’ll never understand why Abby tore Chloe apart the way she did. Chloe was the most considerate and kind soul you could ever hope for in a child. I’m glad she overcame all of the negativity and grew up to be a wonderful adult.

@@bigbrainasian It wasn't just the contract. Look how the timeline played out: Maddie's on top at the beginning; Abby has quarrels with Christi, but treats Chloe mostly okay. Suddenly, Chloe's beating Maddie. She gets the Joffrey scholarship. She gets the Lux video. She's gaining recognition and fans. Maddie's not consistently on top anymore. Abby's behavior toward Chloe shifts around season three (aka after Chloe beat Maddie at Nationals) to be more abusive, more disparaging, more blatantly unkind.
Chloe stops being a "threat" to Maddie. In Abby's mind: problem solved. Heck, it goes beyond that: Abby wanted Melissa to be the "relatable" one on the show and told her to dress in mom-jeans and basic tops versus the other moms' sundresses and nice shoes. Abby always WANTED Maddie to be the star of the show (besties gotta have each other's backs. Thanks for answering the phones, Melissa. Here's instant stardom, just add manipulation and abuse); so when Maddie started lagging behind Chloe, well, we can't have THAT.
I feel Abby grew up in the “blonde hair blue eyes era” and being brunette envy. Could be why she tried to live through Brooke, Maddie & Kalani for years. Chloe was blonde, blue eyed and had so much potential ♥️.
Aww ‘Coming to Hollywood’ made me cry!! Nia and Chloe dancing a duet together FINALLY was just perfect! I also loved ‘Wishbone’, they looked like twins!!💃🏻✨💓

Black Swan and Inside of me will forever be my favourite of the Claddie Duets. Chloe does so good with the dark characters, I loved her Raven solo too

maddie and chloe were the most in sync duet partners on the show, period. when they danced together they brought out the best in each other and looked like one dancer at times. for once those duets put the stupid “maddie vs chloe” rivalry aside and it was “team maddie AND chloe” - i wish it was like that more often, those two were best friends and deserved not to be put against each other from such a young age.
“We’re alright” has definitely always been one of my favorites. Lyrically, it’s beautiful. But “Confession” is something special. Chloe and Maddie could move mountains with their duets. “Confessions” is testament that even when they weren’t getting along, on stage, there was no denying the spark between them.

I think Christi doesn’t like it cause Abby made it about Chloe being the bad guy not confessing stuff to Maddie when it clearly was the other way around
@@mathilde4994 Abby was always so disgusting, like instead of holding Maddie accountable she really twisted reality to make Chloe the bad guy when she didn’t even do anything because in Abby’s world Maddie could never do anything wrong and everything was always Chloe’s fault.
@@corimoon3360 Exactly! But i think Abby was even more disgusting than you said, because not only did she twist reality, it was also her who plotted the whole thing. Maddie only followed Abby's instructions because - imagine disobeying Abby💀 and Maddie didn't really have a say in that.
In the end, it was all Abby who has the blame she's just soo disgusting. Just imagine all those duets Claddie could've won if Abby supported Chloe and Maddie dancing together...
(Also is it really true that the two have become friends recently? I LOVE Claddie!!!)
Dance moms dances be like: This week our group number is called The Death Hug. It is a number about a virus that would go around the world and it started with a single hug. Every single person here will die except for Maddie. We will be competing in Florida at the Dance Explosion competition.

I'm OBSESSED with Camille, Colette and Fifi! It's just the cutest dance ever and I love musical theatre numbers so much. I feel like all three of them really shined whenever doing this dance style.
@mf Honey, it used to happen quite a bit. When the movie Burlesque came out, tons of studios used the theme from it in recitals and other work. But even that aside, the song 'Camille, Colette, Fifi' is and was a super popular musical theater song to use for trio numbers. Things are slowly changing, but I think we'll always see some of this in dance.

@mf Honey, yes, I know. I've listened to that podcast episode, and I know the song it's about women of the night. That doesn't change that fact that songs like this and themes like these are used in other studios. Abby's behavior is bizarre and despicable, but not all of her choices for what the kids performed are unlike those made at other studios.
... Except for Electricity, that was just gross and tacky all the way around and the most Abby thing of all time. You could have changed just one aspect of that number and it wouldn't have been so gross.
It breaks my heart how in season 8 Abby admitted that she never wanted Chloe to win. If she got the choreography like maddie, she would have won all the time. Chloe has always deserved better. 🥲❤

AGREE!!! If she had been given the choreography and the support that Abby gave Maddie, Chloe would have definitely won even more than she already did. I also think it says a lot about how good Chloe was that she could win even when the odds were stacked against her with Abby trying so hard to downplay and sabotage her.
I wouldn't say always, since SOMETIMES Chloe had sloppy technique, SOMETIMES she didn't have enough emotion, but yes, she would definitely win more
It was so hard to see how Chloe's attitude changed over the seasons. She will always be a shining star!! Vegas fan of Christy and Chloe!!
I agree with everything you said about Wishbone. So sad that it was Paige’s last dance. But that dance was beautiful and definitely deserved first place.
Thing is, they would have won first place if Miss Ma’am hadn’t added in Maddie and Kalani doing 2 Sapphires

@@cicelyamelia and I hate it so much because Kalani was the only reason 2 Sapphires won. Kalani was older and a lot stronger technique wise than the other girls because she came from a better studio with much better trainers… she upped their score. If Maddie had that duet with someone like Kendall or something, the odds would have been more even. But of course Abby couldn’t let that happen. She got her dreams when her fav brunettes beat the tall skinny pretty blondes due to her playing with the odds.

That duet was not as good as y’all make it seem. Paige’s technique was god awful and it didn’t get better as the show progressed. At a regular competition they probably wouldn’t have even made top five. Two sapphires deserved to beat them.
“It was very obvious that Chloe’s choreography was watered down”. YESSSS. Chloe was a top tier dancer and got played out in some of her later solos. She was my fave dancer, and it’s so awesome that she was able to persevere against everything she had to go through on the show. ❤️ from Texas!

One trio that wasn't mentioned that will always be a fave of mine is Les Divas. The Pink, Purple, and Blue costumes were so pretty on the girls.

Okay I gotta admit Chloe coming back in season 7 was SUCH an inspiring, Victories, Full circle moment for all of us to watch, and none of us thought that would ever actually happen. I hope the experience was just as monumental and a hallmark for Chloe to look back on that you can achieve and finish anything you set yourself out to do.

The Pin-Up Girl trio is adorable. I remember when I found the Nuvo performance footage I was wondering why they didn't air Paige's part of the dance. Also with the original music the dance makes so much more sense than the music it was dubbed with on tv.
I really would love to see a reunion special with the OG moms and girls were they come together and chat and the girls do some dances for the 10 year anniversary. I would love to see Chloe and Maddie do another duet after all these years and maybe see Chloe do an updated version of one of her iconic solos like Silence, Don’t Catch Me, Seeing Red, or Lucky Star with updated choreography.
ABSOLUTELY... It would be amazing to see them ALL together even if they couldn't or choose not to dance.

I sobbed when I saw that episode when Chloe was called a sneak and she ran out of the room sobbing. I was so triggered by that and it traumatized me, let alone Chloe. That to me is one of the worst moments. To scream that to a kid...my God. Also FYI, Abby recently admitted to the fact, on one of the recent episodes of dance moms, that she did not want Chloe to win, but she also admitted that Chloe always won. To me that means that no matter how hard Abby tried, Chloe always came out on top. It says so much about Chloe‘s talent and just that light that she has. It never dimmed. Abby really was hoping to tear her down but Chloe continued to wear her heart on her sleeve and dance great every time with whatever she was given. It says a lot about Chloe and it also says a lot about how truly evil Abby is. She’s probably gonna die evil. What a shame.
Yes... Her treatment of Chloe ruined that dance for me. It broke my heart to see Chloe crying after HER TEACHER, A GROWN ASS WOMAN, called her names because she herself was jealous of chloe
Wishbone was my favorite duet. I actually felt how deep that was. They were winners. We all know they’d have won. Black swan is my second favorite.
chloé and maddie will always remain the best duet partners. their sync was just incredible, and they had a spark with every duet they did. there was always an emotional connection, and they danced so gorgeously together. inside of me especially, watching it alone makes you feel something. forever my favorite duo! 🤍
Though the costumes for Broadway Blondes were definately something... I actually love that dance. It was sassy, fun, strong, and you could tell Chloe and Paige were having the time of their lives.
Wishbone was such a beautiful duet, but at the same time it’s sad because Paige and Brooke left 💔.

I loved the Maddie and Chloe duets. The show came out when I was in Musical Theatre school and their duets inspired me to start choreographing! My favorite was probably 'Inside of Me' ! I didn't have much experience with dancing or watching Lyrical before the show! We kinda were already into the contemporary era when I started training, and Abby's style is beautiful but dated lol
I loved it when Chloe got to show off her potential by dancing a duet with Maddie, you're right. Both of them were amazing dancers. They danced really well together and I hope they will dance together again someday :)

I know that you are just Chloe's mom, but I'd be really curious to know which dances from all the girls were your favorites. (Like, favorite solo for each dancer) Especially because you got to see all the girls grow up together. One of my favorite duets is with Nia and Kenzie in season 1 or 2 when they were circus like characters and beat Justice and Vivi. I loved the acro choreo and their connection!
I’ve never watched an entire episode of dance moms, I believe it was never aired in Italy, but I have fallen into a deep rabbit hole here on CZcams and I think I’m kinda addicted to the short clips... anyway, I think you were iconic and Chloe was such a sweet kid! I believe I stumbled on the black swan duet accidentally and that’s how I found out about the show. The children were really talented but my gosh...it’s hard to watch without feeling outraged!

I absolutely agree with you that most of the time Chloe's choreography for her solo's was basic but she did the best she could have done with it!
The day I watched dance moms Chloe instantly became my favorite she inspired me to dance even if I never went to a studio I would dance at home and I would root so hard for you guys on Dance moms!💕

Inside of me is a number I’ll never forget. It was just the most beautiful dance I’ve ever seen where you couldn’t take your eyes off of them. That dance was so in sync and they were the perfect pair. They really made each other look fabulous on stage. 💙💙💙

CHRISTI!!!! I was at Jump Pittsburgh that year it must’ve been because I will ALWAYS remember the energy of that room!!! I remember them doing doll house at Jump a year or so after. The energy when the “dance mom’s” girls entered the competition…CRAZY!

JUMP dance competitions also had a livestream of competitions and I remember logging in from California to watch Inside of Me on the livestream live. The number count for who was watching online grew so much right before this duet.

Nice hair Christi! Also, Cathy's Ego Solo was by far the best dance on dance moms. LOL. Wishbone makes me cry everytime I watch, it was so beautiful and meaningful. Black Swan was great too, they were sooo good for their age.

I LOVED "We Believe"! I think that number is so underrated. It's so upbeat and fun and the girls were clearly having so much fun with it that it made it so fun to watch!
