See, Tommy helps me discover Swedish traditions, Sabaton help me discover Swedish history, anybody agrees? 😛 On a serious note now, if there is one good thing that technology brought to us, is the fact that this way we can connect to and enlarge our knowledge about nice traditions from places faraway from us (like Midsommar, which we have no idea about, here in Romania). What's incredible about Tommy is that he has a gift for inspiring people. He makes us want : to play guitar, or to buy a Charvel, to sing, to learn Swedish and to visit Sweden, but also to cook Swedish dishes, or even to have as beautiful hair as him, etc... In short, his charisma, his humor, his generosity, his talent, contribute to making us want to embark on projects. After this video, I'm sure that some of us will want to start learning the accordion. Wonderful Tommy !

As a 80s kid Emil i Lönneberga is part of my childhood and something i now pass on to my children.
This song for me is a great treasure and the origional will ofc allways be Björn Gustavsson however there are 2 covers i know that will also move you and they are both sung by guys named Tommy. I cant describe with word how good i found this version so i will simply say its awesom.
I think they should name you ambassador of the Swedish culture. You are getting that people around the world (like me, from Spain) want to know more about Sweden, its culture, its land, its people and even to learn Swedish language. And, of course, above all, Swedish music. And we are all falling in love with your beautiful country. Länge leve Sverige!! and Länge leve Tommy!!

This song in praticular is from an old swedish childrens program called Emil i Lönneberga, based of one of Astrid Lindgrens books. She also wrote the song. This is probably swedish culture level: max ;)

As a Swede, I have been really curious to visit "Swedish Hills" in Japan, to see if it really is so similar to Sweden they claim it is :) We just had midsummer celebrations here in Sweden and it was blessed with good weather this year so it was a great time. I think they hold Midsummer fest in "Swedish Hills" to, so maybe next time you can visit there and experience some fun as well :D

This was wonderful for Midsummer. Tommy is so perfectly entertaining. He is the only person currently, that makes me truly laugh, which makes it difficult for me to concentrate on that beautiful voice and playing.
