i love how specific the rim measurements are. I feel like 5/8th's of an inch is almost arbitrary though since the sides will likely measure a few eights differently than the front of it anyways lol (cause of all the dunking)

I have a great idea for you , first , jump up, then push the backboard with your hands to make a second jump , you can place a sloping object on the backboard where you want to push so you can jump higher by hands , I haven't seen anyone do this, hope you can try it , that will definitely be another innovation !!

Best I ever got was a one handed dunk in transition - alley oop style. 32in vertical, used to get lots of rebounds and blocked a few dunk attempts.

Honestly, that's the only way I've ever come from behind the line. I'm usually a two-footed jumper. I can do one if I'm not thinking about my dunk. Like it's in-game, and it just happens. But I have to catch it off a bounce to come from behind the line. I've tried without the bounce, but I fall short or don't make the dunk.

I was like that also but when I learned to jump right off one, I started getting much higher than 2. One of the main things to learn for long or high one foot jumps is to use your off leg as momentum as it swings up. Try it out one day
