Thank you for posting this. I’m on the fence about booking this excursion for my upcoming family cruise.
They were great! I was a little nervous about it at first traveling with young kids and having to take an hour long ride away from the cruise but i felt safe the entire time. Uncle Charlie the tour guide was really friendly and engaging. It’s not the fanciest but they were on time, got us back on time and answered all of our questions.
I'm on the fence about this excursion too. I wonder if you went and what you thought about it? I watched another video of a man saying he would not book the excursion again because you are being pulled by a boat most of the time. I'm also quite nervous about the hour long drive. I just want it to be safe as I will be traveling with my mom and two kids.
That looks like a fun time! Your video helped us decide to book an excursion to the 7 Colors Lagoon on our cruise in December.
(BTW, the audio isn't that bad.)

Hello! did you book through the cruise or through an independent company?
I booked through Viator. I always lose whatever cruise excursion credit they offer since it’s usually been cheaper to order it myself. Since the kids are young we never spend the full time on an excursion and always get back in way more than enough time to get to the ship. One of the major benefits of booking through the cruise line is that they normally won’t leave you if you are late getting back lol
Hi!! Love your video. Did they make you wear a 😷 on the van to Bacalar? Hoping not, but trying to prepare myself! Also, did you consider the tour where it goes to the ruins too?
Hey!! We thought about the ruins one but we knew the kids were not going to make the full journey. They didn’t require a mask on the van. The driver and your guide both wore a mask but we didn’t in the van.

@@rachaelmayse3129 hey!! Yes we did, we did the Roatan tour that also included gumbalima nature park. So it took us around the island and then to a rum factory, then to the nature park where we had a guided tour.

Hey! Yes it did! We didn’t spent too much time since the kids were ready to go so we started making our way back to the cruise port
