A Palestinian doctor named Hani Bseiso was forced to amputate the leg of his 16-year-old daughter Ahed on the family's kitchen table - without anaesthesia, due to Israel's blockade - after she was severely injured by an Israeli air strike on their home in Palestine's Gaza.

I was an OR tech for years and amputations are always hard for everyone in the room because it's a horrific sight and a completely unnatural act on another human. I can't imagine doing it on the kitchen table with no anesthesia or way to monitor vitals, let alone it being your own child. I know war isn't fair, but hospitals and civilians homes should be off-limits.

Regardless I'm a Warrior with 70 surgeries, 23 broken bones, 6 months in traction in the Burn Unit. I was 12 and dragged on a 70 mph highway. I couldn't see my parents on surgery days nor the day after. I was still safe, cared for and fed. I didn't cry. I cry for The Palestinians. Doctor, I'm sorry. I'm ashamed of my government. Your daughter is so brave. I would adopt her and help her with everything including getting a prosthesis and medication. I know its not possible. This is not about me. This story is from January, which the amputation supposedly occurred in Dec. it was his niece. The article said he used little more than scissors and gauze from his medical bag. The bone must have been broken already? The article goes on to say that they were unable to confirm independently what struck her home, why it came under fire and what events preceded the attack.

Idk if I can call this a fun fact, but the reason for that is all the pain nerves being located at the surface of the skin (kinda pointless to start feeling the pain when whatever object is already inside). This is why papercuts hurt so much, because it is affecting only the region with the most pain nerves, this is to say that a paper cut 5 inches across would hurt more than a nail pushed 5 inches deep

When the Bible references Israel, it is not referencing the Israel that we have today. The Biblical Israel is referencing the Children of Jacob, whose name was Israel. These split into the Israelite tribes and have by a vast majority left Israel. The modern Israelis are genetically not related to the Israelite tribes by blood. DNA has proven this countless times.
DNA actually proves that Palestinians are more Israelite than the Israelis, as many Israelites converted to Islam and Christianity during the conquests of the Holy Land. This even extends to the Caanites, of which the Palestinians mostly directly descended from.
Even the modern day Prime Minister of Israel is neither Israelite or a descendent of the Kingdom of Israel. He changed his last name from a European one to a more Jewish sounding one after his family immigrated to the modern day Israel.
