Just to put this in perspective for people learning this trick. I have been skating for about 5 months now and I only just Ollied a curb, some of that has to do with me being a slow learner and some of that has to do with me being a chicken.

I learned how to first Ollie on grass. Ollie on grass prevents injuries and helps build your Ollie technique. Just put your board on the grass and try to Ollie stationary. Many make the mistake of first learning to Ollie while moving and on cement. I can Ollie up table benches now. My technique is exactly like aldrins. I do a slow moving Ollie and pop shove forward technique to get over things.

all i can rly say is that you have to lean forward in the air to a point where you feel comfortable then landing. also, you have to transfer you weight backward very quickly to launch; and as soon as you launch, you push your foot from the back-middle of the board to the 4 skrews at the front of the board. Hope it helps! ALSO the MOST important thing to remember is that it takes a lot of time and effort to manage to do this so keep on trying! :)

Hey guys so I need your help, I've been skating for about one month now and I haven't landed an ollie down. I try to ollie on a flat area (my sidewalk) and I'm trying to do the ollie in one spot (not moving) but whenever I go for the ollie I just slip and fall. Does this have to do anything with my wheels? I would try to do an ollie as I skate but I'm too much of a whimp if I can't even land one by not even moving. Please help and if this help I ride a size 8 deck with Thunder 145s and Spitfires size 52 (pretty sure they're hard wheels).
