My favorite mega tin has to be 2014, the nostalgia hits hard with that set. Cmon Sam youve got to agree, i remember walking into locals the day the 2014 tins dropped and seeing people opening exciton knights and 101s it was such an insane moment, also 2014 was the first mega tin to start this whole reprint everything in 1 mega set.
I've been out of the game since around 2007 - and getting back into it! Your channel has been my go to and I love your content so far. Watched the remote duel live and loved it!

Favorite tin has to be the 2019 because it is a replica of the one Yugi used to hold HIS cards in the anime (the gold sarcophagus)

Nice. The 2019 is so cool. It literally looks like Pegasus' Millennium eye is on it. I bought some cards recently on ebay and they guy sent them INSIDE a mint looking 2019 gold sarcophagus. Empty tin but so cool. Im rebuilding my collection and making a deck for the first time since 2005. YUGIOH!!!
I personally liked the 2018 mega tins the best, mostly because of the characters that were represented. I originally thought Martial Metal Marcher was horrible but it turns out it’s pretty good, and I definitely love Keeper of Dragon Magic and E-Hero Solid Soldier
The 2019 tin is my favorite, not only the promos were godly, the design in honor of the gold sarc were the puzzle was sealed is epic
I liked the cards. Wasn’t a fan of the design but then again I don’t really like this years design since I am not a fan of the og series

My favorite tin hands down is the 2018 Jaden Mega Tin. It’s modeled after my favorite yu-go-oh anime and protagonist, and includes promos for my all time favorites archetype, Heroes. The Nebula Neos promo also gives me nostalgia to the first time I ever bought as a kid (Elemental Grand Neos Tin.) It has some good cards like evenly matched in the set, but all that is secondary to me because of the kid like feeling I get when I see that tin.
I love the 2019 tin since you have the Chance to pull the god cards, nibiribu, raigeki and many other cool cards!

My favorite has to be the 2015 dark rebellion megatin. I only recently got back into playing but I always thought that the dark rebellion stuff was awesome (I like PK stuff so they work well together in some cases).

2010 shooting star dragon tin is my fav and most sentimental my cousin got me that for my birthday and i loved it because i loved 5ds and i always wanted to own yusei's cards lol it was also the first tin i ever owned i believe i still have it to this day.

2015 odd eyes tin is probably my fav. Back when toys r us was a thing we were in their rewards program and we got gift cards for their store by using their credit card. It was actually a good deal. We had an extra card one time and I figured I'd pick up the odd eyes tin for nostalgia sake. I thought the odd eyes pendulum dragon and the platinum rarity was so, so sick. And then the legendary dragon decks were coming out later in the year (yes they held onto that tin for like 2 years, lol) which of course had an odd eyes deck packed with new support for it too. And like that I started playing and trading yugioh cards. Been following it ever since. Big ups to you and yugitubers like you Sam, you guys are the only reason I could even begin to understand the game

My favorite megatin is the current one, the 2020 lost memories megatin, because it's the first one i buy since i came back to game, when i played as student i have no money for it, and it's very cool be able to buy and open those tins in such important moment for the game with the dark dragoon arrival. I just got back into yugioh at the end of 2019! And the last tin I ever opened before that were when synchros were released... 😅 so I haven’t got much to compare, but the 2019 tins were amazing! Love the idea of the promo cards in there, and the blue eyes alternate ultimate went straight into the blue eyes deck that I built with the guidance from the channel, really love the channel, for someone just getting into yugioh the builds are really helpful and the videos are hella entertaining, keep it up man 🤟🏽 bless up

I’ll admit the 2019 mega tin is a really good in my opinion. But I thing my favourite mega tin is the odd eyes tin because arc V is my favourite Yu-Gi-Oh! Series.
Yes. I love arc v and think it’s the best series. The fact it has an inter dimensional war and so many summon types make it way more interesting. I don’t like original series and think arc v is the best really.

I love all the junk cards in the 2018 tins. I’ve only been able to open the 2 newest ones unfortunately but hopefully I’ll find some of the old ones one day 👍
2019 is just the best tin overall. We haven't seen the 2020 tin impact yet, but the Danger?! and Knightmare/Borrelsword reprints last year were pretty dope. Gotta love 'em~

I would recommend looking at what archetype you might be interested in playing without looking at prices first. Then see the top 3 decks you'd might want to play price-wise and then go from there. Also getting back into Yugioh dont go for the highest rare cards. If there are commons and other lower rarity versions go for those first.
Go on tcg player look at all the booster packs and all the tins you see and look at highest prices for cards and pick the tin or booster pack you wanna start collecting for the expensive cards and bam you're back into it.

My favorite is definitely the 2020. I just randomly bought a pack of toon chaos. Pulled an extravagence, when they were sitting at like 40 bucks. By the time I figured out how to sell them the 2020 megatin dropped it down to 25. But I had learned so much from that extravagence and how much value I already had in binders, I’ve started making a decent return. Bought one tin and pulled the new extravagence. Was a kind of cool full circle.

The 2019 tins, they had a ton of good cards for getting me into the game and dark ruler and nibiru are just staples that will never go away.
i like the kaiba 2017 megatin juat because of how the tin itself looks. my current favorite design though is the 2020 megatin. just brings back the memories of the original yugioh and the tablet with the pharaoh vand seto.

I definitely like the 2019 tin the most. The reason would be the amazing variety of archetypes and engines to work with, and the Dangers alone make me want to buy another one for how fun they are.
I like the yusei fudo. The synchron deck always was my favorite deck (yusei don't do a lot of trap as the other main characters, also his deck truly can summon shooting xD). The other thing synchro I think are the most interesting type card because it do a person think a lot and be creative.
I really love the 2015 megatins because my dream is to become a dueltainer and use performapal odd eyes.
I love the 2017 because the tin was cheaper than buying a ghost ogre,at my store as they were selling for like 14, and ogre was selling for 19+ or so. pretty great.
dang when i started to collect yugioh again I wanted to get a dark magician with the original art work and man it was so hard but i ended up buying that 2016 tin and it had it! so much nostalgia in that

Gotta say 2019 megatins in a sense for the crazy luck I had in the 3 tins I bought pulled 2 nibirus, 1 dark ruler no more, and 2 boardsword dragons, as well as 3 palladium mana, the 1 raigeki, 1 monster reborn among what I recall.
Not sure if it counts as a mega tin but my favourite tin is the Redox dragon ruler of boulders tin, because this tin was my first ever tin I got and which got me into playing yugioh
