Yknow, most people would just play the “That’s the joke.” line, but unlike CinemaSins, Birdman shows the whole scene.
Another thing with H and the iron giant, she said it was a commission. So she was building it for someone else. It's not hers to use freely, but she ended up having to use it because of their current situation.
In other words, she stole it from her client.

5:17 i think Jeremy hasn't played video games at all. There's this thing called customization in video games where you can upgrade your car to make it go faster.
Yup, and we find out very early on that Wade's best friend in the Oasis is someone who is good enough at repairing and customizing (and custom-building from scratch) Oasis items to make a living at it.
Exactly, you can clearly even see the Knight Rider sensor light on the front, highly unlikely that was his only upgrade.
However the fact the movie says to climb Everest with batman but no one in the race was using a newer version of the batmobile then slowest/most delicate of them *sigh*
Granted, it's also very likely that the batmobile was a custom skin and that the car itself, like the Delorean, was a highly upgraded vehicular module. Art3mis's bike itself was described by Aech as "custom skin over standard frame" and was fixable in less than ten minutes.
That's one of the neat things in computer game programming - stats don't have to correlate to appearance. It's just recommended when you learn how to make games professionally, because it's what people expect.
Actually Jeremy has a playlist of 18 videos showcasing his ability or lack thereof regarding playing videogames. So he does play them ( sometimes ).
and btw, remember what they said about that motorbike? "standard chassis with a custom skin" or sth like that...

@Jesse Schoedel Even I said this originally, and nobody listened to me, but the whole point of the puzzle seemed to win an impossible race. It only occurred to him to look at that piece of the journal after Artemis said "Halliday didn't like rules", prompting him to go back and then get the clue he missed.

The Tuesdays and Thursdays thing really does get under my skin. As someone who has worked in the food industry I can tell you if the only thing I could do to relax on my only days off was suddenly taken away I would be crazy livid. Especially when there are a slew of other way to solve the issue of over use.
Do you think it would be better if The Oasis had a shorter amount of downtime every day instead? Because I've lately been gravitating toward a headcanon that Wade and company change the downtime to be more evenly distributed across days instead, in response to the backlash over it being completely down on two full days every week.
I'm not certain my idea would be perfect either, but it's a thought I had.
eh, in the modern videogame scene a game company can basically be bullied into changing outrageous practices, and wade definitely seems like he'd listen to the feedback. it'd be gone in a few days tops.

Jeremy's laugh always sounds like each individual "ha" is written down, rehearsed and performed while still reading off the script for each laugh.

There is a special type of ignorance in thinking The Shining is not the answer to the second easter egg because Stephen King didn't make the movie. This sin is the worst I've heard in a long time. OK, technically King didn't make the movie, King made the one we pretend doesn't really exist, but Kubrick's version stemmed from King's creation. All I'm trying to get at with this mini-rant is that I've talked to dozens of people about this scene and none of them made the same complaint CinemaSins just made. This sin is exactly why I can't take CinemaSins seriously.

When you're talking about the abilities of items in games you tend to know what they are and will just talk about them.
Like when you're playing magic many old timers will still use the abilities of the cards to describe them not their new flashy name; "comes into play" not "enters the battlefield", or in gaming we'll say how long stuff lasts in real time not read it off the sheet when you just /know/ what it does.
This proves that Jeremy isn't a gamer or a nerd.

Okay, I love your videos because they perfectly illustrated my issues with Cinema Sins.
But that aside, I just have to say, I've seen this movie, 2 or 3 times, and I NEVER NOTICED the Last Action Hero reference, during the race! So thank you, Cinema Sins (most likely the only time I'll ever say those words) for pointing that out!
Imagine a crossover video with CinemaSins, Th3Birdman, and CinemaWins. Maybe for Infinity War, one of the biggest crossover films made.
CinemaSins, CinemaSinsSins, Th3Birdman, and CinemaWins, all duking it out over Infinity War, on a live stream. Sins would point out bad stuff, Wins would point out good stuff, and SinsSins and Birdman would refute against Sins.
That would be a clusterfuck
