As an Black American retired and living in SVG, I love it here. I call it Wakanda and think that Black America should support and help this country grow with our 2 Trillion dollar base.
Trillion dollars is in consumership, not net worth. That’s a common misconception. There’s no disposable income to support and help another nation grow smh
I’ve lived there during the pandemic and I did see many areas that we as a people could help grow it without help from other nations. So much could be done there.

To the beautiful taxi driver, be careful what you ask for. Example, Jamaicans are pissed because they can no longer access the beaches they once used as launch points for fishing. Put the infrastructure in to protect the people first and then focus on tourism.
@melvinbarnes6652 Vincy people will always have access to beaches. We don’t play that nonsense at all.
Sandals opened at Buccament Bay and does have part of the beach, but the locals have the other half.
We don't want mass tourism. Sometimes we do get 4 cruise ships but not only in Saint Vincent but other Grenadines Islands as well. Most Vincy people are not interested in mass tourism. People complain that there isn't enough room for carnival this year. We are building a port and airport is fairly new. At the end if the year, we will be getting more international flights. We would never be an All inclusive vacation hot spot.
@@dianad1968 For now. The people better force the government to put the infrastructure in place to forever protect their access (and other natural resources) else Sandals is just the beginning.
