0:45 My kind of movie goer.
0:41 That man either was in awe of how amazing the film was or absolutely hated it. We’ll never know
0:29 I absolutely love Lynch, but there is something so hillarious about the way this guy delievers these resentful words with such distain towards David and Eraserhead. The way he says ,,BIZZARE PERSON WITH A DISTURBED MIND" is one of my favourite delieveries i have ever heard, and it just perfectly reflects how normal people I reccomend Lynch films to react whenever they finish watching one lol
0:52 His enthusiasm was more disturbing than the movie.
0:39 perfect response to watching eraserhead for the first time
The last guy hit the nail on the head about the meaning of the film. The rest I couldn’t tell if they were being sarcastic or not. Lol.
He said it was about “the repressed sexuality of Henry spencer or whoever the guy is” I don’t think he was being too serious.
It's more about the fear of parenthood than his repressed sexuality
0:30 The most bizarre person in the video calling the person who made the movie bizarre, how ironic.
This is the ultimate litmus test for which guy you would rather date.
But then which guy is your preferred choice and lucky winner?
I’m a straight dude so not interested in them but I would say guy at :39 at least has a good orgasm face that I’m sure you ladies can appreciate
i still come back to this video every so often. They witnessed history. I wonder if one of them enjoyed Twin Peaks or any other David Lynch movie and said "Wait, this was directed by that loonatic?"
I guess you guys aren't ready for that yet... but your kids won't be ready for it either.
Thanks for saving this. For some reason the other upload of this got deleted.
these kinds of polarizing & experimental films have become so niche these days that most people lean positive because they know what they're getting into. would be funny if a video like this existed for something like Beau is Afraid or Spring Breakers.
In order to fully understand the many meanings and elements of this film, i encourage everyone to watch David Lynch: The Art Life. Lynch reveals intimate details of his own personal life which seem to have heavily influenced Eraserhead, especially his time in Philadelphia, and his difficulty with starting family life. This is perhaps his most personal film ever, and spencer in many ways is an embodiment of Lynch himself
Good to know opinions on this movie haven't changed much.
All these people are in their 70s and 80s now (if they’re still alive lol)
More like their late 60’s and early 70’s. I don’t think you understand time too well
@@bobbymcfee2974 nah. this was 45 years ago. Most of these peeps look between their 20s-40s. So I’d guess they’re somewhere in their late 60s-mid 80s now.
I think some of them look older just bc hairstyles in the 70s werent the most youtful looking @@theonewhoknocks96
0:30 Wayne Campbell reviews Eraserhead
0:01 a happy little accident that became a film...
Somehow I agree with all of them
Im with the guy at 00:30
0:45 Dear guy who was being interviewed we should like…. hang out sometime and watch some films!
we really are a divided nation,,,,,,,,,,,
we're all the 5 times guy
I think it's a murder suicide. He wallows in guilt (the baby) which he conceived at the beginning as a thought in his head, his wife leaves him and murders her by cutting her head off (erase her head) and he commits suicide in the end
0:31 Im pretty sure that’s Kevin Van Hentenryck, the star of Basket Case (1982)
I don’t think it’s actually him but the resemblance is insane, I thought that too
I would of said what a great movie about the man on the moon pulling the levers wishing he was a human and had a baby
I wonder how long the first guy thought about it. He was genuinely confused by what he saw haha.
The guy talking about Fellini on the way out of his 8th viewing of Eraserhead is a level of cinephile I can only dream of achieving.
A true man of culture
How is that like early Fellini though? His earliest films are neorealist
@@sherlockkrankcase3578 maybe he meant early in comparison to his films in the late 70's since Fellini was still active at the time
Dude achieved film geek nirvana without even using the internet.
Yeah, would love to see his Letterboxd acc
