Prague - Zelivskeho. 4x Escalator ride from platform to street and station walk around. Pt1

Another great find!
We watch the train depart from Zelivskeho metro station before riding a long and very fast old Kone escalator from the platform to the ticket hall. From there we exit and ride the smaller escalators (ThyssenKrupp and Schindler) up and down from street level, with a brief look outside. We then go back down and finish at the platform level again. (I returned after to film the other escalator that wasn't running so there'll be a pt2. They alternate day by day)

**Old Kone escalators, What??
Yes indeed. While Kone escalators were relatively rare in the commercial sector before their partnership with O&K, they did produce some outstanding Heavy Duty escalators back in the 70s and 80s. A trip to Finland confirmed these are certainly Kone because Helsinki metro has a number of similar ones (minus the wood effect look!) with Kone branding and serial plates. They use identical combs, step treads and are the same shape/design. Plus the motor sounds and general sounds are the same. But a look around at other videos has highlighted they are (or were) in quite a few other countries too. Just never in England. These have a ride quality and feel I can't quite explain with so much movement/ play in the steps, you have to ride them to appreciate how good they really are!
