I remember my friend sent me a text message a few years ago, and he wrote something to the effect of "Ok, see you soon, honey!" And I thought... honey? We're not even THAT close. Cut to a few minutes after he had sent it, and he wrote back, saying, "Oh sorry, dude! That was meant for my wife, LOL!" To which I replied, "Sure it is, honey." We still laugh about it to this day!

True story...... Years ago I sent a text message to my best friend, telling him. I was thinking about filing for divorce. Later that day, I put my glasses on and saw I sent the text to my spouse 🤣. Needless to say, We broke up that week and I moved out. Be sure who you're sending text messages or emails to (Before) you press send.
I never did this, but see how it’s possible. Joy cracked me up when she said she sent a congratulatory note to Jimmy Fallon instead of Jimmy Kimmel about hosting the Oscars
It happened to me once and I don’t think the relationship was ever the same with the person on the receiving end. Especially since we didn’t know each other so well. Now I make an extra extra effort and double check-Especially if it’s confidential or sensitive information.
A coworker once tried to sell me life insurance. She was persistent due to the commission she will get. I told her I want to think through it. One evening I woke up to : angry emojis and strange conversation between her and someone else. She was telling the person she is mad at me for not signing the papers. The problem is she was sending the messages to me instead of the person. She immediately apologized that it was an error message but I already saw them and knew the kind of person she is. That was the end of that insurance. I was shocked by her angry she was though
I have done much worse, when people had land, Lines and cell phones were fairly new, I accidentally butt dialed the guy that I have just started seeing, things weren’t serious yet, but I really really liked him. He lived with a bunch of football players this was in college. I called their house and left an entire message with me and my girlfriend in the car talking about some really private stuff. The entire football team heard it. It was so humiliating.
My boss sent me a 🍆 pic meant for someone else. I got a msg saying I am so sorry pls delete it. I hadn't gotten the msg when I saw the text so I was confused. Then it came through. Didn't realize what it was @ first, when I realized I busted out laughing. 😂 I thought it hilarious. He was mortified.
This was way before cell phones but remember call waiting?? I accidentally switched over to the person i was talking about and didn't realize untili was halfway through complaining about her!😲😅
I had this happen before I sent a Nono picture to someone who shared the same name as my cousin. Thank god my cousin just laughed. It was horrifying once I realized it but my cousin was a good sport and just laughed it off. Fast forward a few years later I accidentally walked in on him drunk and naked in my bathroom. He was so messed up I asked his girlfriend to help. Her and I were laughing and the next day my cousin felt embarrassed by it. Life is a weird thing
Why does this happen? It's because our desire to be efficient often causes us to overlook who we are responding to and neglect double-checking before hitting send.

You guys should do something on Sean Puffy Combs because Donald Trump will say that you are prejudiced when it come to him just keep your eyes open for negativity comments
As long as its not like really offensive stuff or sending a nude to your boss instead of a booty call, its not that big, you better laugh about it than cry i think (i almost outed myself to my mom once tho)

I've been burned so many times I use a text service that allows up to a 7 second delay. I also learned long ago NEVER respond to "all". EVER!
