Vojtĕch Pikal: Czech Republic Parliamentary Delegation to New Zealand | NZ Parliament

In late November 2019, the New Zealand Parliament welcomed a delegation from Czechia, comprising the Czech Chamber of Deputies' Foreign Affairs Committee, and led by Mr Vojtĕch Pikal (MP for the Czech Pirate Party and Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic). The visit also marked the 30th Anniversary of the ‘Velvet Revolution’, which saw the end of the one-party government in the former Czechoslovakia.
We caught up with Mr Pikal to hear his perspective on the visit, which included discussions in advance of the European Union-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement.
