Why does it take 3 days for you to release videos from the weekend and SU can release theirs the same night? Just asking don’t take the question personal!
Coming from an upcoming videographer, the short answer is they invest A LOT…… like A LOT A LOT into their media team and professional grade equipment.
I can also attest to the fact that uploading the very same night would require staying up well late into the night/early morning. You would have to pay for a huge media team to take the footage directly back to the office to edit/color grade etc, or at away games they might go back to a hotel or have data plans where they can upload right then and there, unless some are volunteers. Which means for some schools, the band media personnel, this may not be their main job. Either way, you would be asking the media editor to stay up late and work long hours just to edit/post footage within hours of the games.
Side note: Also if they choose to sleep while its uploading that night then they are praying that the footage gets uploaded correctly with no problems. 😩 I've had that happen before - uploading something overnight while I slept only to wake up the next morning and find out there was a problem (server issue or something else)😅 it was a hassle.
@jCo1 that part! SU got it like that and the results show. And its not a shot at other schools, some schools prioritize band equipment over media equipment and there's nothing wrong with that at all.

The difference between pv media and su is that pvs media is student’s that invest their time into the program.. su has a hired staff member
